How to Access Your Inner Knowing: Nervous System Regulation & Hypnosis for Self-Trust

Creativity isn’t something you lose.

It just gets quiet.

I’ve been noticing this a lot lately. In my own life, and in sessions with clients. That feeling of something shutting off. Like ideas used to come easily, or there was more connection, more aliveness, and now it just feels harder to access.

So in this episode, I’m talking through what I’ve been seeing.

Not in a “here’s how to fix it” kind of way. More just looking at what actually seems to be happening underneath it.

Because from where I’m sitting, creativity, intuition, and the body are all tied together.

When your system is tense, when your mind is loud, when your attention is pulled in a hundred directions, that creative current doesn’t go away. It just gets quieter. Harder to hear. Easier to miss.

So we explore that.

Why it can feel like it disappears. What might actually be blocking it.What I’ve noticed, both personally and in hypnosis sessions, when it starts to come back online.

The small shifts. The subtle signals. The changes that don’t look dramatic from the outside, but feel very different on the inside.

If you’ve been feeling a little disconnected or flat, or like something in you just isn’t turning on the way it used to…

just see what lands.

Hey everyone, welcome to this deeper conversation. On the Seer Sessions podcast, the theme this month, we are diving into awakening that creativity within you. So maybe you've never felt creative, maybe you used to feel creative, maybe sometimes you do, but it comes and goes inconveniently, then this is the month for you. And on Patreon, we're just taking this conversation a little bit deeper. So I'm gonna talk.

little bit more about this topic and more so like what I'm seeing just in my own life, kind of what I'm working through. And then of course, I like to add in things that I see with clients and yeah, we'll just go from there. I'm at my desk. It is a beautiful sunny day out. I just got back from a hike, not just got back, but I like stretched out. I poured a coffee and now I'm sitting down and I'm gonna record this and...

I'm excited to get into it. For me personally, the creativity, the idea of awakening to it, I think when we are in that creative current, that creative flow in our life, that's when we feel alive. That is when we feel like I am worthy, I have gifts to share, I'm tapped into that divinity that created me. And to...

feel that in our lives, I think is kind of at the basis of like what we say we want when we're like, I want to be happy. I want to feel joy. I want to feel love. I want to feel alive. I want to feel like this life matters. I want to know my purpose. I want to work with my gifts and share it with people. All of those things are creativity. is access to something that you have a birthright to. It is a function of your earth suit.

And I talk a lot about intuition. And to me, intuition, I'm not sure how it's all put together. still, you know, I don't know if we'll ever know how the unseen realms are put together until we are a part of them completely. for this, me, intuition and creativity are very linked. I think it is part of, you know, last month when I shared that session.

Jina Seer (02:25.293)

where it was like in that session, part of my higher self was telling me, you know, how Gina thinks of intuition is like looking at the whole body and saying, it sees things. It's like, yes, intuition can help you like, quote, see things. But it's so much more than that. It is just, it's like a whole sensory body that we're like unaware of. And I think that that is...

the divine human spark within us. I believe that that is a part of creation, a part of from which we came, a part of that creative current that runs through our life until we are no longer inhabiting this earth suit. I think it is the difference between, you know, me sitting here talking and if I died, you know what remains of my earth suit slumped over in this chair.

The subtraction there is that creative current. It is that life force. It's that eternal spark, the essence of your soul. And why wouldn't we want to go deep, right? So if you are, so let me just say this. If you are like someone who doesn't feel creative, maybe you feel like you used to be creative. Maybe you feel like you were never creative. Maybe it comes and goes inconveniently. Check out.

what is coming on the Seer Sessions podcast, because I have that nighttime hypnotic track, and that's going to be something that you can just listen to and you can evoke different feelings and memories in your body that'll help you kind of open to that creative flow and even kind of understand and subconsciously let go of blocks that keep you from being in that flow. And then you'll, of course, be able to experience another lifetime where you were

like feeling like you're creative genius. You were feeling like, you know, creativity effortlessly and automatically ran through you and you had some sort of consciousness about it that felt easy. So that's one way to like really turn it on in your body. And then of course we follow it up with a higher self session. And that's designed for you to like go through those other two journeys, listen to that nighttime journey, like every night if you can. And then any...

Jina Seer (04:43.918)

Questions that you have any blocks that you feel like have you know made themselves known over the month? bring to that higher self session and you'll be able to look in the show notes of that episode and see the questions that I'm asking and It's really a conglomerate those episodes are always the questions are like these are the common questions Within this vein that my clients would have in session

So I'm trying to kind of do like a general catch all, but a little bit more directed on the questions. But there's always room at the end of those journeys for you to bring your own specific question. So I always end the journey with, and what else does your higher self have for you today? Any other messages? And that's when you could bring that question to the front of your mind and then just allow that answer to come in. And like I said, I...

I myself, I love feeling creative. When I feel creative, I know like mentally I'm having really loving, compassionate thoughts and I just feel better. I feel lighter. I feel like I sleep better. I wake up more rested. I'm just generally in a better mood. And my clients report the same thing. And I have had so many people come into session.

saying I feel creatively blocked. I'm trying to write a story or I used to have all these ideas and now I don't have them anymore and I'm feeling stalled out in my work or career project or whatever and people are continually coming in and feeling disconnected from this part of themselves. To me, creativity, it's not just a mental process. It's almost like

a process that starts in the body and unfolds in the mind and that's when we become conscious of it. That's the way I see it. That's just kind of the pattern I see. It's not like any client has said that specifically, but it's kind of like the pattern that I see as people would move through that, you know, phase of disconnection in their life and coming into hypnosis is a way to just be like, why you're just open.

Jina Seer (06:54.647)

You are connected, that's the whole point. You're not kind of distracted and kind of wishing you were connected. So when people can reconnect to that creativity, and I say reconnect, even if you feel like you've never been creative, it is a reconnection. This is a part of you, you have experienced it before. But when people can reconnect with that part of themselves, they feel just more solid, more...

connected to themselves, to this life, to their decisions, to the consequences of their decisions. And some people, again, I think there's such an overlap between what is intuition, what is creativity, what is inner knowing. You know, I think it's all kind of the same body in parentheses or in quotes body, but I don't know how it's all put together, but I do know.

that the more people access and focus on building that connection to their intuition, to their inner knowing, their creativity automatically is increased at the same level, it seems like. And for me personally, I see that in my own life when I've been feeling really in flow and on it, you know, like I'm making changes in my life and then I listen to an astrology reading and it's like.

for a Scorpio rising, here are the things coming up, here are some things you might want to do to like make the most of that energy. And it's like, shit, I'm already doing that. And that using that energy to me is very much creativity, right? I'm being creative with how I'm using the energy within me and around me. And you could call it intuition. You could call it creativity. I don't know. But what I do know is that in many hypnosis sessions,

people encounter it and probably because I use the word intuition a lot, they say, I was reconnected to my intuition or you turned on my intuition. And to me, what they were really doing is tapping this inner knowing, tapping this inner creative flow, tapping their soul's eternal spark, their eternal wisdom, their soul's voice, their gifts. Some people even...

Jina Seer (09:16.783)

call it like a conversation with the divine, a conversation with God or goddess, it's tapping into this deeper part of us that leads to intuition, creativity, and more aligned choices, and generally more joy, and a feeling of connectedness within ourselves, which is great because

From my vantage point, you guys, it looks like most people are walking around trying to fill that black hole in every other way, including blaming everyone else. So I don't know, let's like be a good influence and just quietly do the work and then boldly share what we've been doing when people notice. So today I'm talking more about that connection and I'm so curious, like if you are listening and you have the Patreon app up.

I'm curious like how you see that difference between creativity, intuition, inner knowing, kind of your soul's intelligence even. Like how do you see all of that? Or is this the first time you're like, yeah, maybe they are all related. I don't know. I'm curious. Let me know in the comments. know, I'll be perusing them. Overwhelm me with comments, I dare you. Okay. All right.

So let me look at these speaking points quick. What do I have up first? Okay, let's talk about creativity. So one thing that I said earlier is that I believe creativity lives in the body. And I think that the mind gets all the glory because that's when we become conscious of it. We see creativity as like an idea, essentially, whether it's this is the picture I'm gonna create or here's my.

clever way to get through this issue or whatever it is, we become aware of it when it's in the conscious mind, just because that's how things typically go. And a lot of us, myself included, it takes a lot of work to be like grounded and in your body. There's a lot of reasons to not be in your body. But when we are grounded and when we are in our body, we can start to see like, yeah, creativity really follows like.

Jina Seer (11:33.626)

when I've been treating my body right. For me personally, if I've been feeling blocked or stuck, I just have to go take a walk in nature. And like my whole life gets figured out. Even if I still have the same problems after the walk that I did during that nature walk, they don't, they seem so small. And that to me, the shrinkage of my perceived issues leaves room for creativity.

So that happens by moving my body, putting this earth suit in the frequency of nature, in the high vibration of plants and flowers and fresh air and wind and even sun's rays every once in a while. So that is something that I want you to switch. Like if you feel blocked, if you kind of have inspiration, creativity, connection to your intuition, if you feel like it comes and goes,

Maybe that would be a simple shift that you could use during those times when you're feeling disconnected. I always encourage people, if you're feeling connected to your creativity or your intuition, don't sweat not being connected to it. Just be in it. You know what I mean? Like, I hope you're in it forever and you never have to deal with it. But if it ever kind of recedes, you know, the waves go out for a little bit.

and that pulse, you feel a little disconnected at times. That's when I want you to remember this and like sink into it. I mean, play with it up until then, but I really am a like, if it ain't broke, don't fix it kind of girl. So choose your path there. But it really does live in the body. Start to see it, start to notice that, start to notice that when you're feeling creative, when you're feeling intuitively connected, what have you been doing with your body?

Have you been moving more? Have you been meditating more? Have you been treating your body better in all kinds of other ways? Know that it's directly related to your body. And I am the type of person where I see it in myself. I've seen it in so many clients that I've lost count that I don't know, are there studies out there? I'm sure. And actually that's something I should ask the internet or chat.

Jina Seer (13:54.808)

Show me the studies. I just have so much fun playing around in the ideas and experimenting with my clients that listening to other studies, I don't know. It's already true for me. So anyway, whatever, if you're a scientist, let me know. I'd love to hear your point of it. But it really is a part of your body. So pay attention to that. A lot of times people, you know, we're in our head, we're in our thoughts.

all the time. There are so many things in this modern life that pull us into our thoughts, into that cerebral living and out of our body. But know that it really does have something to do with your body. So that's kind of step one. Focus on, I'm feeling creative. I'm feeling intuitive. I'm feeling connected. Whatever that feeling is for you. And just take note, hey, what have I been doing with my body? Like, have I been taking better care of it or whatever that means to you? You know, and that

taking care of your body as a whole can of worms, but that's gonna change based on who you are, how old you are, what phase of life you're in, where you're going, what you wanna do. So just be connected to with like what you need right now. But notice that shift. And another thing too to notice, and we talked about it in March on the podcast, is your nervous system. Your nervous system,

is a current of energy that moves through your body, basically. It's how we are able to move this body. And so I talk, I'm not gonna spend a lot of time here just because the whole month of March was dedicated to it, but it really is about knowing that your nervous system, how you feel like in your body is directly related to the thoughts that we have and the point of view that we see when we look out.

the window that is the perception that we pick up through our eyeballs and our brain and play around with that. And that's been a huge learning for me over the last few years is like how much a jacked up nervous system is my norm and how much that derails a lot and how much that ramps up like my inner critic. And so I don't have to

Jina Seer (16:19.073)

really be in my thoughts, monitoring my thoughts as much, if I can make it a point during the day to like genuinely soothe my nervous system. So I'm outside most days for a couple hours because it feels so good. Like it is my anti-depressant. It is my anti-anxiety med. It is my sanity.

And one of the reasons is because movement for me can be very relaxing overall. I have a ton of energy, which I'm really grateful for. But if I don't use it, I will turn on myself and it's not good at all. So for me, moving my body two hours a day, preferably outside, has been kind of the sweet spot of me managing what used to I call anxiety. And it's really just like I have to move my

energy in a way that feels good for my body, for my mind. And again, being around and in nature, there are, there are many studies that tell us like it resets our nervous system. And so that's a part of it. So if you are someone who is making changes to the way you treat your body or how you look at your earth suit, as I like to call it, number one, look at it like an earth suit. Like you're gonna have to be wearing this thing forever, always until you're dead.

And why not make the most of it? Like, why not treat it right? And in all of that, when you're thinking of treating your body right and whatever that looks like for you on any given day, don't forget your nervous system. And our nervous system can be jacked up because of how we learned to cope with life as a kid. It can be jacked up because now we have negative thoughts that get us all riled up physically.

And then it's just kind of this feedback loop that we just kind of continue to get amped up. So pay attention to your body, how you're treating your body. And then specifically see if you can really downshift that nervous system. Yeah, do a quick Google search or ask AI, like give me nervous system 101 and what can I do to bring my nervous system down at night or, you know,

Jina Seer (18:38.989)

make my nervous system calm during the day or whatever, use these things to learn just enough. You don't have to be a nervous system expert. I mean, I'm not, but learn just enough where you can like apply it to your life and see the benefits and then move on and try something else. Okay, so the body, do not forget the body. And now I'm gonna go into the mind because the mind can totally affect the body. And holy moly, do I know that.

So if you notice your point of view is consistently negative, even if it seems like the truth, I didn't make it. There's plenty of positive that you could see, right? But like when we are constantly looking for problems, which a lot of us on a healing journey, that's kind of how we got here. It's like, I've got so much problems, I gotta clean this shit up. And then we get addicted to it because it feels...

fucking good to clean up your issues and to heal your shit. Like, yeah, life's not perfect, but at least I'm not triggered by this thing or that kind of person anymore. Like I can sleep at night. I, you know, feel more in control of my intuition, my creativity. Like it's all good. But the shadow side is, is that I'm always looking for problems. And so it can be easy for me in my daily life, not to see things that are going well.

because for my subconscious mind, it says, we feel good when we solve problems. We gotta go through hell to get to heaven. And I can go with that or I can change it. And sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. But to know that what's going on in my brain can also make me feel blocked. can also, you know, you can see that as a couple of different ways, right? Like more of a frequency, a vibration way would be.

If I'm having really negative thoughts, my negative thoughts are like, your work doesn't matter, it's too small, there's too few people who are interested in these topics, you're always gonna be looked at as weird. Like when I have those thoughts, the emotions, if I'm engaged in those thoughts, like paying attention to them, just letting them kind of be background and not questioning them.

Jina Seer (20:59.12)

which they used to be like subconscious background, but I've pulled them into the light so at least now I can see them. But when they are running the show, of course I feel shame and I feel sadness and I feel grief and I feel like a fucking failure and I feel when I'm in that emotional stew, when I'm tuned into that radio station.

then my brain's just like, and then you did this thing wrong and you fucked up that relationship and you messed that one up too and this was a really cool guy and you fucked that up too. And when I am in that emotional state, whether you wanna measure it as like a frequency of a vibration, lower vibration on the scale of consciousness, or maybe you just wanna see that.

If I'm feeling shame and I'm feeling sadness and grief and self-hatred, I am in panic mode. Like my nervous system is not calm at all. So we can see how like the body affects the mind, the mind affects the body, but I believe that like it's the body that is the game changer. Yes, you can affect your thoughts to change your body, but

To me, it feels easier at this point to focus on my nervous system, focus on the things I know that have shifted it. And when I do that, all of a sudden, like the grip of the negative thoughts and the self-criticism just releases. Sometimes it's not gone, but at least it doesn't feel like the truth. It just feels like, there's that voice again. At least I'm not in it.

Where before that when my nervous system is jacked up and my mind is going I mean it just feels like It's coming in my eyes. It's coming in my ears. It's in my brain. Just like everything I've ever done wrong ever and that is my own personal hell and So of course I feel disconnected from my intuition in my creativity because that stuff is divine It is a part of the divine creator that created me

Jina Seer (23:12.996)

whether it's a simulation or we're in someone else's brain or we're really in some kind of vast system that has no end, no beginning, I don't know. But when I can see that, when I can take control of my Earth suit, it changes my brain. And before I used to be just in my brain, in my thoughts, trying to control everything from there.

and I have gained mass skills in that area. But when I learned how to like calm this body down, like physically, like I don't know if it's primal or what with breath, with intention, with where I put my eyeballs, my gaze, that stuff makes a difference. So I'm not a nervous system expert obviously, and I have read a lot on it.

But I think that you should peruse a bookstore or wherever you get your books or search it on podcasts or YouTube. Take in information about the nervous system, but do it in a way where you can like come away with a few practices because we can change the state of our nervous system, I think in as little as 30 seconds. So you can go from like, I'm gonna die panic attack to, okay.

this everything's gonna be okay, you know, I'm not gonna die, I can like take a breath. And 30 seconds, you guys, I used to days, days, I mean, even probably like weeks if you're talking about like depressive spins. Anyway, so find things that work for you and a lot of these are like taking a breath. I shared one last month where it was like,

You inhale for the count of four, five or six, and then you exhale for the count of like six, seven, eight. Like you're exhaling longer than you inhale. Try to do it for at least the count of five on each. You know, there's like, that's something that I use and God damn you guys, I have so much doubt, but it always works. I'm about to go put myself on the top of a mountain to evoke some kind of panic response in me to test these things. But.

Jina Seer (25:35.44)

I am always surprised by it and be an advocate for yourself. Find little bits of information, test it out on yourself. If it works, great, keep using it. When it stops working or if it never worked, find something else. Play with it, get curious about your body, get curious about yourself. It's huge because when the body relaxes, that channel opens.

Creativity, intuition, your inner knowing, even your soul's history, all that stuff. Like, yeah, all of that stuff becomes easier to access when our body and our mind are calm. All right, so speaking of which, body and mind. So I think of this as sacred. Like I, at this point in my life,

live in full devotion to my mental, energetic, and physical health. If someone makes me feel like I need therapy, I don't care how appealing or lucrative it might be for them to be in my life, they can't be in my life. That's where I'm at right now. I have been on a goddamn healing journey for 20 effing years.

Okay, I'm not the one who needs therapy. Hang on. I'm far enough on this goddamn journey to be like, holy shit, did I have a knack for attracting some toxic motherfuckers? And you know what? After setting that kind of like stake in the sand, and that was probably, I don't know, like two years ago, it's really quite amazing how apparent it has become.

how much I always thought people who triggered me were just a part of life. And that's not true at all. I have a lot of people and like a close group of a handful of really good friends where no one makes me feel like I have therapy. They all are reminding me how sane I am. And...

Jina Seer (27:57.21)

And I can say that because I've put in the work, I'm really conscious. You my problem is beating myself up too much, right? So if you have problems in your life because you blow too much sunshine up your ass, like, I don't know what that is. I'm trying to get there, you know, or at least like the healthy space in between me and that. And that's the way I've been seeing it is this like seeing my being as sacred and to...

being so fucking bold is to kind of require people in the inner circle, people close to me, people in my semi-daily life to do the same. And guess what? I want people in my life who are doing that for themselves. Because the toxic people who wanted me to be someone else and have a problem with my individuation and who I am, even though I'm a good person and I do good work and I'm...

creative and I generally live a pretty quiet, calm, compassionate life, those people always had a problem with me and never with themselves, right? And so to flip that and say, my gosh, I guess all I want right now is no one in my life or people who remind me of my greatness. Because like I haven't had that. I don't know what that is. And I need that.

that's the vibe for what's coming next, frankly. Like, I've been making some moves in my personal life and I'm like, I don't know why, I just know that's the vibe of what's coming next. Like, I got a new vehicle and I'm like, this seems a little insane to me. I mean, that I'm buying this vehicle, but that's the vibe. It just is. And so I think it's important when we are on this journey to realize like, hey, your body is a part of this journey.

who you are, your Earth suit is a part of this journey, how you animate your Earth suit is part of this journey, devote to it. Get curious about it, explore it, be a student of it. And I just, think that that makes a good life. And I see it in my own life.

Jina Seer (30:17.113)

I hear it in my clients, in their responses to changes in their own life that they're making, in response to the work that we do together in hypnosis. I see it in the past life experiences that my clients have. When we are in this space of honoring ourselves and who we are,

life also gets smoother because we're like, you know, filling the cup from like the deepest layer first. Because when we feel that nourished feeling, balanced, healthy, we're not plagued by negative thoughts or like chronic pain or inability to do the things that we want. Like we actually have the creative space within us.

to do the things, to get the idea, to make the thing, do the thing, say the thing, write the thing, whatever. But those things need that space. They need that container of the inner territory. yeah, like I said, for me, working with so much depression and anxiety on and off in my adult life, I'm now 45, and I can just see that.

based on who I was, when I was feeling the most depressed and the most anxious, it was like life was busy and stressful, but not just busy and stressful life will do that to me. Like I have capacity to be busy. I have capacity to handle stress, but it was more like this stress and this busyness was not of my...

decision. It was what society expected someone like me to do or what other people were comfortable with me doing. And I think that it's really easy for people to, when life becomes busy or stressful, and I wasn't really ever in my body or really connected to my body in the way that I am now. So even I remember I didn't understand what panic attacks were until I was

Jina Seer (32:32.197)

like had been having them for like two years. And I remember sitting in meetings, like when I had my corporate job, you know, everyone squeezes into a little room under bad lighting. We all sit around a table and talk about shit that could have happened in an email or shit that doesn't even have to happen. And I would be sitting there and I would be breathing through a panic attack. And I couldn't figure out in the way, the only thing I could compare it to was like,

I grew up going to a community pool and sometimes you would be, you know, playing at the bottom of the pool or whatever, going to dive to get a penny or whatever. And you kind of miss the timing. And especially in the 10 foot, it takes a little while to like get to the top. And sometimes I would get to the top and it was almost like I needed air so bad. It was like hard to inhale when I got to the top. And that's how I would feel in these meetings. That shit was going on for two years and sometimes I would get it.

while I was driving or really while I was driving or while I was at work. It was always related to work, but that work was like so wrong for who I am as a person. It's so obvious to me now, but back then it wasn't. And I remember one time I was driving and it started and I clocked the time and it went on and off, mostly on, but it was on and off for over 20 minutes.

And I was like, what is this? I had no idea what it was until I got further on my healing journey. And I'm like, those are panic attacks. If I would have known that, it would have been a red flag. But instead, I just thought it was my issue. But I was just leaning into other people's expectations because I was so lost. There's all kinds of reasons why I didn't trust myself. And

You know, I don't think I'm necessarily unique in that. I think some of our reasons overlap. Some are unique to our own situation. But the way, you know, I handled other people's expectations, especially as an empath with zero boundaries, I was like enmeshed, codependent. The way I solved problems, what I saw as responsible behavior was actually totally out of alignment with what I truly value as a soul. But it was in alignment with the people

Jina Seer (34:52.933)

that I was around most of the time. And anyway, so I think living like that, not only dealing with the anxiety and the depression that came with that for me, but it was really like dealing with that almost pushed me out of my body even more. It was so uncomfortable to like get the signals of my body, because the signals of my body were just like, nope, try again, not this either, no, quit, do something else, nope.

try again, you know? And it was just like, can't, everywhere I went was like wrong, but I was never consulting my internal world. I never saw that as something to like be devoted to or like claim as my own or really even see that I had an inner territory. And it was almost like every time I saw I had this.

inner landscape, it was like shit that I wanted to change because it was always inconvenient reactions to a life that felt stifling, boring. Not mine is all I can say. Yeah, so in that, course, like that internal connection, my connection to my intuition, my connection to my creativity, that really

just continues to get quieter because it's like a muscle. If we don't ever engage with it, it just gets quieter and quieter. So when we can do something like hypnosis where we are put into that space of trance with the intention to experience our inner knowing, you might call that your higher self, you might call it your soul's knowing, your soul's wisdom, your eternal wisdom.

When we can move into that space in hypnosis, it doesn't matter how we've been living, right? My ideal for you would be you do so much hypnosis and understand your inner knowing and who you are. So you make so many good life decisions that you end up in a life where you're like, it's just easy to deal with. If I get triggered or strung out on something.

Jina Seer (37:10.661)

I come back to my home or my home base, whatever that is, know, figuratively or literally. And to be able to access that trance state more and more often. So not just in hypnosis, but you can access that deep wisdom, that inner peace, that creativity when you're out on a walk, when you're in meditation, when you're journaling or writing, when you're, you know, floating in a pool or in a lake or whatever.

you can practice it and cut that noise with hypnosis and get super specific and dialed in, but slowly you become more and more tuned into that in your everyday life. And part of that is just like seeing that we have that internal territory, kind of that inner landscape that is both like body

nervous system, our earth suit and our mind and our souls knowing and the programming, all of that stuff, we need to manage. It's ours to manage and to know like what is pushing and pulling us internally. What is creating different reactions within us internally doesn't always solve them immediately, but sometimes it does. Sometimes just simply knowing. yeah. Like for me, when I was just at a training,

which I, it was amazing. I felt fucking in over my head. This was a training I've been wanting to do. It's for wilderness first responder. I've been wanting to do it for over 20 years, but I always felt too weak and too dumb, not smart enough to do it. That's the honest truth. And I did it. And I didn't think I would get the studying done beforehand. And I was like, I'm just happy to go. I don't need to pass the certification. It's fine. And I went in there and of course,

Day two, it's in the afternoon. We're there fucking 10 hours a day. It's in the afternoon. We're doing another patient scenario in the woods. We're dealing with shock and diabetes. So you come across someone in the woods who's like going through shock or diabetes. And I'm just like, dude, I don't know. I'm a hypnotist. I can't, like, I will not be assessing patients in the woods. I can't do this.

Jina Seer (39:38.297)

what? What is going on? And I was just beating myself up. And I just remember being like looking around at these people and these people are like EMTs or they're like river raft guides or a couple of them were like the firefighters and you know, like forest firefighters and shit like people who are like, they're doing good. They're doing good hard work. They need these skills where I'm like.

I'm probably just gonna use this to save myself. If I have a friend with me, we're gonna be good. Strangers, it's everybody for themselves out there. And I just remember on that second day, I'm just like, I hate this so much. Why did I do this? Maybe I should just leave. I wonder if I can get a refund on my hotel room. These are the things I'm literally thinking. And then this greater voice comes within me and it's like, hey, it's day two. And I was like,

It's day two of this training. I know that wherever I'm at a training a retreat Whatever I'm at if it's multiple days long you guys day two. I'm suffering mentally always I always feel if it's a retreat. I'm like No one here is like me. I'm all alone. These people don't like me. I don't like them, you know, like there's always this

You know, or I'm not smart enough to be here or I'm not whatever enough to be within this group. Like there's always something in my mind and it feels like the truth. That's like you don't belong here, Gina. And this sucks and you should maybe leave. But I've gone through this consciously so many times that I can identify it. And so it was just like, day two. OK, I'm just not going to say anything. I am just just going to sit in this feeling and just be like whatever in this feeling.

and I'm just going to do the bare minimum and I'm going to be a good team player. But that's it. And wouldn't you know, day three, I woke up, felt fine. Day three was fine. Like, did I feel super smart? Did I learn something overnight? No, it's just when I know my internal landscape, that inner territory, and I know it and I pay attention to it, I can better take care of myself. And it doesn't like crater.

Jina Seer (41:58.741)

You know, I'm not leaving on day two of a training. You know, it's not that I would never leave a training. You know, sometimes things aren't a good fit, but I'm mostly a finisher. But I would never leave on like a bad day because I know that. I know that about myself. And I've worked through enough bad days in a way where I know this is bad, but Gina, like capital J, Gina, capital S self wants this. I go through it. I get through it.

And I'm glad I did it. And I feel way better, way more confident. So knowing our internal landscape and understanding that to me just is kind of a no brainer. It's like the path that we're on, but I don't know. I hope this isn't you. But for me, it was like, I'm always kind of resisting it though. And that's what I see.

I see that the beliefs I want to have, the beliefs I think I have, when I am out of alignment with those beliefs, like acting in ways that say, actually, I don't believe those things, I am the least happy. And I just have to continually see that in my mind. Yeah. And I see it all the time in clients too, because here's the thing, it's like when a client comes in, not like,

people are the same, but there are of course like archetypes, like things people want to work on. Like some people are interested in, you know, understanding their connection to their body. Some people are interested more in understanding to creativity and I need ideas to get out of this life that I got myself into, or they want access to that intuition for all kinds of reasons. And they come in and it's like always this chaotic energy. And it's so fun to do that hypnotic

induction because you just see someone like, I mean, I don't actually see it with my eyeballs. It's more like a feeling, but it's almost like this leaf just kind of slowly floating to the ground. And to me, it's like their nervous system is slowly relaxing.

Jina Seer (44:15.959)

and then they come into the session and it's like their voice is like embodied, it's often lower and yes it's like lower and slower because oftentimes that's the way it is in trance but it's like this truer calmer version of them is also coming through and when people come out of it like I've said before they'll be like I felt like it turned on my intuition or I was connected

you know, to that intuition that I used to have and it felt so good. But a lot of times people will say something like, I really felt like me. I really felt like myself again. And that's what I think it is. I think it's that divine creative spark, that spark from creation, that divine creation that made us.

When we're in that, we feel like it's worth it. I'm here. This is why. And that might be through the filter of your own life and your own lens. It might look a certain way, but no matter what you're doing with that energy, I think that's what it is. We feel like ourselves again, because we're experiencing the divinity within ourselves.

And I think that's what creativity is. And I think when we're open to that creative tap, our intuition is turned on, we're connected to it. But I also see it in clients. Now, I'm not like a sex coach at all, but I do find I'm a Scorpio rising. So obviously most conversations about sex, I'm like, can I get in on this? I'm profoundly curious about the shadow side.

of all things, including what we do behind our doors. people will say, like, connecting to my intuition, I feel more sexual again. mean, people don't really talk like that, but people talk about that in all kinds of ways. But basically, that's what they're saying. And man, I feel that for sure. When I look back at times in my life where I was the most depressed and the most anxious, I did not have any sort of drive to like get it on or

Jina Seer (46:42.629)

be sexy, and honestly, that's like a huge joy in my life. It's all related, you know? It's that creative divine spark within us. I had a lot of clients over the last seven years who have booked like repeatedly booked sessions. So it's kind of fun to like, you know, check in with them once or twice a year and see how they're evolving on their journey. It's pretty fun. But when people have...

been crafting this connection with creativity, whether they say it like that, or they say it like connecting to their intuition or connecting to the divine or connecting to their higher self. There's all kinds of ways people talk about this. But something else that I've noticed and that people share is that, and it's the same, I guess, with a lot of changes in hypnosis where it's so subtle. And that's why it can feel so effortless.

And that's why hypnosis is so important. It's so we can be attuned to those subtleties. We can quiet the body and mind and focus clearly and see what we normally don't see, observe what's always there, but we don't normally observe. We can't normally pick up. We can't receive that message for whatever reason of our busy life and our busy mind. But we...

can intentionally watch for this every day. And when we're watching for it, it not only builds confidence, because to build confidence in yourself, we have to, and I know this from personal conscious journey recently, do things that are difficult, do things we don't think we can do, get to the other side of it. And even if we didn't do it and we like gave it our all, left it all out there, our performance in that leads to confidence.

And so when we can see changes in our life, we can feel more confident and we can actually take those changes and make them exponential, make those subtle changes even more powerful because we're attuned to that subtlety and we can be like, I feel that spark. I'm going to use it. So this shift within you might be dramatic, but it really most of the time.

Jina Seer (49:06.745)

speaking from my own experience, what I see in clients, it's a small shift. Like, suddenly, you feel interested in something again. Or suddenly, you're writing some ideas down in your journal. Or suddenly, you get all kinds of ideas for that manuscript you abandoned. Or maybe you see, like, new possibilities in a situation where before you felt like...

I'm just stuck or I'm gonna have to make this dramatic move and I don't want to. And now you see like a middle of the road win-win for everybody. Another thing that can happen, especially when we tap into that creative energy and we do it from the body, like being outside, breathing fresh air, going on a walk, moving your body. If you're a TV watcher,

If you're someone who sits on the couch and watches TV, could you sit on the floor and like do some stretching, do some deep breathing, put your legs up the wall, do some stretches? Like it's about getting more intention in the body, in the mind, opening up that space and then watching for those subtle shifts.

Because here's the thing, especially when you go in through the body and you make some shifts and you start to pay attention to your body and move your body more or get more pleasure from being in your body, whatever that is, climb a tree, swing at a swing set, masturbate, whatever you need to do. But when you can see, when you can look back and see these shifts, what it looks like is more energy. Like your life is more energized.

And I think a lot of us in this world, we kind of see creativity and we think of like the ability to make something. But really, creativity is just the ability to get ideas, see solutions to problems, see new possibilities. Like imagine different directions or different ways to express your voice and your thoughts and your gifts.

Jina Seer (51:26.693)

When creativity runs through us or when it returns, those clients experience something even deeper than inspiration in that moment. When we can intentionally craft this relationship with our Earth suit, with the creative energy that runs through it, we get something better than ideas or inspiration. We get this aliveness in our life.

and life begins to feel like lighter. We begin to feel more curious instead of gripping control. Yeah, there's a lot of things that are obviously not predictable in life and to deal with that, a lot of times will make life feel kind of mundane. And this is a way to like...

express and be and use that structure of your life to like really live it to be animated in it. Yeah when people reconnect with their intuition they'll report those ideas start flowing again you know whatever that create that creative flow that they're trying to tap into whatever that means for them and when people reconnect to their creativity their intuition that inspiration

they notice that they feed into each other. Like working on your intuition, you'll naturally become more creative. And so you can just look for that in your life. You might not be seeing it in your life, but now you can look for it and see it. And to think of creativity as a divine flow and to use your earth suit in a way that helps you kind of like.

bolster that creative energy running through you, give you space to run that energy run through you. People report that they feel more intuitive, they feel more in flow with the seasons, they feel happier. So these two things for sure go together. And I don't know exactly how, but it definitely seems like whatever that internal pathway is.

Jina Seer (53:43.749)

where these things are coming into our consciousness, into our Earth suit, into our bodies, the more we do it, the more conscious we are of utilizing that internal pathway and fostering a clear, great pathway, whatever that might mean for you, it becomes easier and easier to access even in times of stress, even in times where your analytical mind feels a little loud. So you're practicing it.

practice, we're practicing it, we're leaning into it, we're seeing it in our life, we're trying to amplify it, and all of that just makes it easier and easier to do in the future. So if you feel creatively blocked right now or in the future, know that that's okay, and don't put that pressure on yourself to flip it like a switch. I mean, if you can, great, do it. But know that turning that around,

takes a little bit sometimes. And sometimes just becoming consciously aware of it is enough to kind of get that process going. And then we just have to see where these shifts are actually taking place in our life and like appreciate it and amplify it and use that energy intentionally in other areas that are maybe a little stuck. Can we give it a little help? So it's all related. And again, that's why I love hypnosis for it because it relaxes your whole

system like body and mind. And when we can do that, that analytical mind, that over scanning, over questioning, over planning part of our mind can just like exhale and soften a little bit and get out of the driver's seat, take a nap on the side of the road. I'll see you later. I mean, we need it.

but it's nice when there can be a balance and we can use that analytical mind to our advantage and be in control of when we deploy it and when we tell it to take a nap. And in that, we can just become more and more aware of the subtleties within us and around us. And in that, we'll continue to understand our subconscious mind, those invisible influences.

Jina Seer (56:00.777)

that dictate our internal landscape and how we deal with the life and how we see the life around us. Creativity and intuition, I see them as so connected. They are different. One kind of seems like this outward force and one kind of seems like a phone line to me. That's how I see it right now anyway. But they are totally connected. And when I think of intuition, I think of like my inner compass too.

And I think when I am aligned with the life that I came here to create as a soul, if Gina, if I truly believe that I chose my parents and my body and my interests, and I'm taking all my soul's experiences into this life, I have a plan. And I use my intuition as a way to stay connected to that plan, stay connected to this internal compass that's oriented.

to that plan. And when I'm aligned with that direction, creativity flows even more. I'm even more intuitively connected to myself and the world around me, which is like magic and fun. So if you're anything like me, I notice that like when I move too far into like pressure, I put a lot of pressure on myself. When I'm thinking too much of external expectations.

and fucking fabricated external expectations that I create. My signals, my connection to my creativity and intuition just harder to hear, harder to understand, harder to remember. So if you're ever feeling blocked in the future, I want you to remember that. And my journey is unique to me, sure, but I am a human with an earth suit working with.

divine creative energy and so are you. And so for the sake of this conversation, I would say if you're feeling creatively blocked or disconnected from your intuition, to see them as kind of the same thing. And if you know something that works for unblocking your creativity, or if you know something that helps you tune into your intuition or makes you feel connected to the divine, engage in those things and see how they help each other.

Jina Seer (58:27.047)

and see how when you're more creative, you're more intuitive. And when you're more intuitive, you're more creative. And what does creative mean to you? What does that look like? I'm curious to know. And another thing, when I think of clients coming in, seeking, get me through this creative block. I want to understand why I feel so disconnected or blocked. I want to say to you, like what I say to them. It is a pulse in our life. It's an energy.

and we are a receptacle for it, and we can control what this receptacle is like and how receptive it is to that energy, but we can't always control that energy. So know that if you're feeling blocked creatively, you're not doing something wrong, you're not failing. This is not a lack of talent. It's just a part of having an earth suit. That's it.

understand more and more every time you feel creatively blocked. For me, anytime I feel anxious, creatively blocked, self-criticism, blocked for my intuition, they all go together. And if you observe it, you probably won't have to observe it long, but you'll start to see mental habits or physical habits with your body that ultimately tend to lead you after a few days to maybe feeling blocked or feeling unblocked. Just pay attention to that.

Go about it lightly. Don't use this as another thing to beat yourself up with. And on that journey, especially when creativity begins to flow again, you're feeling intuitive and connected again, as you go into that pulse in your life, now and in the future, every time you do that, you've learned something. Your awareness has been expanded. You've learned about you, how you operate in this world.

how you stay connected to your soul, to that divinity, to creation, to your creativity, to your intuition. And when we can see that and build confidence, we know we can trust ourselves more. And it seems like such a small thing. I would have, my whole life, I would have consciously been like, I trust myself. But when I look back on it, I didn't. Every time someone said they had a problem with me, I assumed it was me.

Jina Seer (01:00:54.171)

And I think it's good to have humility and do that, but I think it's good to have a little dignity, self-respect, and trust yourself. Trust, you know, in my case, trust my experience, trust my knowing, trust my journey, trust my healing, trust everything I know about me, and trust the good I've seen in me, and trust the gifts that I share with people. And that...

When I can trust myself, man, that obviously feels really good, but it makes me see more and more like how much I didn't trust myself. And when I'm really self-doubty and like waffling back and forth on certain decisions or certain things, that's like even a red flag for me. Like, not so clear here, are we? What's going on? Do you need more information?

Or are you just not trusting yourself? Because why? Why not, Gina? So that is my message for today. That is why I love these higher self journeys. You know, I'm the past lives tour guide. You know I love an inside glimpse into a lifetime. But I think the higher self is so important because to me,

the higher self when we're connecting to that. We're connecting to inspiration, divinity, creativity, intuition. That is what we're accessing. We're kind of like accessing the most of that that we can while residing on third dimension earth in this earth suit. So if inspiration or creativity has felt a little quiet lately, I hope that you can talk, you can make your way through everything I just said.

Try a few things. Know that you've never lost it. Creativity, intuition, they are yours for the taking. It is your birthright. It is a part of your Earth suit and you can't lose it. Just know that and know that if you feel like you've lost it, it just means your attention has been maybe pulled away for a while. Maybe stress has been a little high.

Jina Seer (01:03:16.425)

Maybe you've been a little distracted and you haven't really checked in. Maybe your check-in is meditation or journaling or writing and you haven't been doing any of those. Know that that creative current is always there. It's always there. It might just be quiet. You might be focused on a hundred other things. But start to know this. Start to know when you're disconnected. Start to play with the ways you can open that connection again through your thoughts.

and through your body. Don't forget your body because when your body relaxes it makes it easier for your analytical mind to kind of soften and quiet and then it gets easier for you to reconnect to creativity to intuition and it all feels very natural because it is natural. That's why we can't force it. That's why it's like so uncomfortable to force it.

So think of it as like, sometimes I think of it as almost like clearing the channel. Like I gotta go, and I will say it, like I gotta go out and bleed the venom. Girls got a backup of energy. It ain't good. And before I use it on myself, I'm gonna go bleed the venom on this trail. Okay, you're still here. Before we close, I'd love to invite a reflection if you'd like to share in the comments. So I have two questions you might consider.

So when do you feel the most connected to your creative energy? Okay, whatever that means to you, you can't answer this wrong. You can blabber on, I'll read it, or you can be brief. Either way, I'll read it. And then when do you feel disconnected from your creative energy? And whether you know the details of that or not, I would love to know it. For me personally, like I said, if I don't get a lot of time outside,

It sounds crazy, it sounds Pollyanna, but if I don't get a lot of time outside, it makes me feel like, why am I even here? And it's not a conscious thought. It's not like I wake up and go, I haven't been able to hike in four days. Why am I even here? It's this deep existential feeling of like, what's it all for even? And it's all very dramatic, but.

Jina Seer (01:05:37.735)

It's important I'm dramatic, because that's how I learn and bring things to the surface. But for me to be able to live a life where I have the time and freedom to drive to a trailhead and take a couple hour hike and drive back, or even on a busy day, bust out from my front door, get out of this neighborhood, onto those trails for a few miles, and back quickly, like,

I just need a little bit and it doesn't seem like it's totally related. It took me a long time to figure that out, but it was like, wow, if I can just get out in nature, everything makes me, it just feels like everything's gonna be okay. It's like for me, Phil Collins, his voice, every time I hear Phil Collins voice, and I'm not like a fan listening to his music all the time. I mean, I don't have anything against it. I have been to a Phil Collins concert.

which he sat on a stool the whole time because he was having back issues, poor guy. Anyway, when I hear his voice, something inside of me is just like, everything is going to be okay. And I can't describe it. But that's how nature makes me feel. Like I just take a deep breath and I'm like, even if my whole world is on fire, being out here right now resets me in a way that...

doesn't logically make sense, but here I am paying attention to it and reaping the reward. Okay, so again, those two questions, if you would want to chat with me about it in the comments, when do you feel most connected to your creative energy and when do you feel the most disconnected from it? And then another question I had just in general of do you see creativity and intuition kind of the same? What are your thoughts on that?

Yeah. All right. Thank you so much for being here for this deeper conversation. So later this month here on Patreon, I'm going to share more about what people actually experience in higher self sessions and some of the patterns I've noticed from those journeys. To me, with the intention of going to the higher self, that is the intention of going to like the height of that divine

Jina Seer (01:08:00.597)

Creative force that runs through us going to the height of it that I can while I'm still in this earth suit in this third dimension In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions about the journey whether you're about to do it and you have questions or you did it and you have questions about your experience or about the way you did it or whatever let me know those questions and I will see you in our next episode on the 13th
