Hey, everyone. This month on Patreon are two episodes. You can think of it as two parts going a little bit deeper into the theme that is on Seer Sessions, the podcast, which is the nervous system. And how does that tie to intuition and our ability to be clear, to tune in, to know when we're making aligned decisions?

decisions and actions that are aligned with the life that our soul came here to create. So in the next episode on March 13th, I'm sharing a session where Soulful Stephanie takes me to the red planet, into my higher self-knowing, and I ask for deeper understanding around consciousness, awareness, and our intuition, this internal knowing, this sixth sense that we have.

So today, March 1 episode is the runway for that because here's the thing, inner knowing is real, but your nervous system decides whether you can hear it or our nervous system can kind of distort the message a little bit. And I believe that because that is my current experience, just being really, really clear about how

really riled up my nervous system is a lot of the time and how that can make me feel so disconnected from myself and make me feel like, oh, I'm making all the wrong decisions. So I went to the red planet to ask for deeper guidance on that. And I did that in session with Soulful Stephanie in December of 2025. So just a handful of months ago. And in that,

There's so many good moments, so many wise nuggets, but there's this moment where I'm asking about intuition. And one of the things, Axe, the facet of my soul that is on the red planet, she basically says, the way I see intuition, the way I refer to whatever intuition is,

Jina Seer (02:24.683)

She's like, it's such a crude word for something so much bigger. It's like if someone were to say, what's your human body for? And you were like, to see stuff. It's like, that's true, right? But it's so much more than that, so much more than that. And that's really what she was trying to get me to see and to understand. And when I experience wisdom like that,

metaphors like that when I'm in the trance state. It's just so much easier for me to take it in on a level that's so deep that it's cellular in the sense of it's like in the fabric of how I see the world and how I make my decisions. So one of the things in that is just all the messages that our body has for us and

I've been working on my intuition, I guess, interested in my own intuition for probably like 20 years. And really, over the course of like the time that I went into hypnosis as a client, which was 2013, I started to feel just a lot more intuitive. And who knows why? I mean, I have my theories, but as I would do more hypnosis,

And then when I started leading other people on these hypnotic journeys, I just started to see how much more access to my inner knowing, to my intuition, how much more clarity I had when I was experiencing the energy of the collective versus the energy of me. And I know that has to do with being in that trance state. And it also has to do with the element of healing, because that's why I came to hypnosis was to

You know, I was having all kinds of really out of control emotional reactions to things in life. And some of them I needed to change and I needed the courage to change. And some of them I needed to just kind of alter my perception. And hypnosis has always been an avenue for me to get a different perspective on my life so I can do those things. And I really see this as hypnosis lending me this expansion of awareness.

Jina Seer (04:47.054)

So I can just be aware of more things that are at play, more influences around me and within me. So I can just make better choices. So I can also within all of that become more aware of who I am. So I can make better choices going forward. Well, you know, eventually I started a podcast as you all know that and that was in 2019. Now it's 2026.

And I'm still very much on a journey. And sometimes I kind of, I mean, really, I feel like slow. And I think it's my inner critic, but it also seems like the world around me where it's like, people like me, feel like evolved a little bit. Now they're kind of their own mini guru with tens of thousands of followers. And I'm just kind of like over here.

like talking about more issues that I have. And as I have covered in so many sessions and specifically sessions in the last like year with Soulful Stephanie, I'm thankful for that too, because it pushes me to continue to explore. I think it's a red flag when someone is leading any sort of community or speaking from any sort of level of authority when they're not even really doing that work anymore. And

I gotta stay true to that. Like I just can't sell out and be like this guru teacher to get, you know, the masses who are hypnotized scrolling on Instagram to like me more, you know, or find me more entertaining. And in all of that, it's like I'm in this constant evolution, right? And one of the things that has become so clear to me in the last year is how much my physical body, how much my nervous system plays into this.

what I would have called before spiritual realm, but it's not spiritual. It's just like what I'm aware of my consciousness. And I put a spiritual spin on it because that's how it makes sense to me. It kind of is soothing to look at it from that way. But in reality, I'm just starting to see, wow, the more agitated I am, the more inflamed or whatever that I am, the more agitated my nervous system is, the more

Jina Seer (07:11.501)

You know, the self-critic comes out. The louder that self-critic is, the harder it is to catch the self-critic before I start believing these things or spending time in those thoughts. And all of that has so much more to do with the Earth suit than I ever thought before. And as I was reflecting on the content for this month and just bringing in this idea of the nervous system,

in this realm of awareness and intuition, it really makes sense to me because I, for probably like two years ago, started to have so many clients where their spirit guides, their higher self, what they were, the wisdom they were getting from their hypnosis sessions with me was bring your body into your spiritual practice. And for everyone, that kind of meant something different.

Because I'm such an exerciser, like I love exercise. It makes me feel really good. I look forward to it. It's like a time when I can think about whatever I want and I feel really good in my body. But for a lot of these clients, I was surprised because I was making assumptions as someone who's like, your body, you should exercise more. And that was definitely something like move your body more. Like a lot of people got that move your body, especially because

for a while, lot of people, seemed like for years, people were coming to me who just felt stuck in their life. And a lot of times the advice from their higher self or spirit guides was like, move your body. But what happened with this message of bring your body into your spiritual practice, I, because I am who I am when I lead these sessions, would ask a lot of questions like, how, what does that mean? What does that mean for this person? they should go outside.

How often is this an hour a day? Is this an hour a month? Is this three minutes a day? What should they do when they go out there? You know, is standing in their backyard enough? Do they need to get in their car and drive to a trailhead? So I was always asking a ton of questions, but a lot of times what people would get was just sit quietly and tune into your body, which is oddly frightening and most of us would resist that, but...

Jina Seer (09:30.081)

In that case, because I know that it would be like, what does that mean for this person and how can they like feel better in that? But it really was all these different things like journal about your body, talk to your body, meditate with your body. And then of course it was like move your body, but it was also like be in your body, put your body in nature, like put your hand on a tree.

put your ass in the grass, you know, put your feet on the cement or the stone or the dirt or the grass or whatever. It was like, be in your body outside. And because I have practices like that, and I was having clients who were getting that information, I would take that information effortlessly. I'm having a deep conversation with someone is what this feels like.

And so I would effortlessly take this learning from this client session and apply it to my own life. And I started to get even more magic, even more nourishment, even more energy out of my time in nature, out of my time when I am exercising, whether I'm outside or in the gym. And it really was such this important piece. And for so long to me,

That meant, when Gina is moving her body, I'm also going to intentionally try to open up, get into this trance space, focus on my higher self, see if I can get answers to questions or, you know, insights about dilemmas in my life. And what I really discovered was, yes, that's true. And it's about the actual nervous system. And it's about how that nervous system

responds to trauma, how that nervous system responds to our unique perception of the world around us and within us and how much that's influenced by what's in the shadows, the things that we suppressed so we could be accepted by our parents, accepted by our siblings, accepted by our community, accepted by our neighbors, accepted by our classmates in school, accepted by our teammates on sports. We're always

Jina Seer (11:44.053)

under the subconscious drive for acceptance. And so in that we stuff a lot of things sometimes, depending on who you're around and who you are. We kind of stuff away these parts of who we are to fit in, to create more peace, more ease, less friction with the little communities that we're in and that we kind of move in and out of as we move through our day. And that's totally natural.

And when we don't pull those things from the depth, they influence us. And sometimes they're so deep that they always will influence us. We'll never get rid of them. But they can influence us less if we know they're there and we know what to look out for. They can influence us less if we know, like, how to prevent them because we've been studying them, because we know them. They can influence us.

in a positive way, if we can kind of understand the energetic signature underneath it. And it's like, hmm, how could I use this to my benefit in this life? How could I take this perception and use it to my advantage instead? Because a lot of these things, our beliefs, our perceptions, were really molded when we were really, you our consciousness was really moldable and wide open as a child.

And most of us never learn coping mechanisms as an adult until we realize I'm in pain because the way I'm coping with the world is so f'ed up or needs to be improved or I need to just stop having these reactions or I need to make better decisions for myself so I'm not so triggered. Because when we're triggered, that is our nervous system freaking out. And that

triggers the fear response in our body, which narrows our perception. It physically narrows our vision, what we can see with our physical eyes, but also our perception of the world around us. And it all kind of compounds, like we have a fearful view, so we see things that affirm that and make us even more fearful. And we really need to be able to calm our nervous system because

Jina Seer (14:07.251)

Even though, yes, there are life-threatening things in this world, most of the time the thing that's bugging me out is not going to kill me. Most of the things that cause my blood pressure to go up and cause my garment to be like, you had a stressful day yesterday, has to do with my internal landscape. The voices in my head, the way I see the world, the things I expect, the things I focus on in my past.

All of those things can compound and make me even more anxious feeling, even more fearful. And in the last six months, I've started to see how not, I mean, to kind of like hack it, I guess, where I don't need to completely rework a belief system. If I'm feeling fired up, there are just things that I can do to help myself calm.

and relax. And there's simple, simple breathing techniques. And that's actually what I'm gonna go out on today. It's just like a really simple breathing technique that I use to help shift my nervous system out of that kind of revved up state, getting me into a nourishing kind of powered down state, not like a scrolling vegetable powered down state, but like an actual nourishing one.

Because I've been noticing, like the more I can get myself in that state, the less the voices from the shadows rule my day, rule my thoughts, rule my decisions. The more I can calm my nervous system, the easier it is for me to show up and just actually be the person who has the wisdom.

that I have. I have a lot of wisdom. I'm sure you do too. You did not get this far being this reflective, showing up all the way inside this little Patreon where we go so deep. Like you are a reflective person. That alone means that you probably got five times the wisdom out of every wrong turn, every right turn, than someone you're equal and, you know, not so aware.

Jina Seer (16:30.091)

it's important that we can be that regulated nervous system. We know what that feels like. And in the spiritual community, we would say that person's so grounded or that person has a big root chakra. And to me, that was always like, that's interesting. But when I started really getting into this, bringing my body into the spiritual practice, understanding that the nervous system is an actual part of this and an actual part.

of how we get enough clarity and how we tune into our own unique inner knowing, our own unique plan for this life. And that is what I mean. And I think what a lot of people mean when they say that person is grounded. They're a regulated nervous system. And to me, when I look back on the course of my life, I can see my big expansions into

who I am today really came after a time where I felt a shift in my daily existence and what percentage of those waking hours were in this high stress fight or flight or not, or that nourishing kind of powered down state. And I saw that, I saw that after getting into...

you know, a securely attached relationship with my ex-husband, who's still a good friend of mine. After getting into that partnership and creating a home within that partnership, that was incredibly nourishing to me on levels I had never accessed before. And it was through that that I had the knowing and the courage to do a career switch from wellness into hypnosis.

and or to specify in that space in the hypnosis space with past life regression. And now I'm seeing this shift too. When I look back three years ago, I moved into my own house and it's the first time as an adult that I've lived alone. It's not the first time I've lived alone, but it's the first time I've lived alone without crazy ass money issues like

Jina Seer (18:51.425)

severe lack of money issues like panic living paycheck to paycheck, you know, accumulating debt most months. And that to me was very, it triggers my nervous system like crazy. So to feel more financially secure and be living alone where I don't even have the eyes of someone, you know, who accepts me, but I'm like totally alone.

I've created this really great relationship with silence and solitude. And within that, I've been able to spend more time in the space of my higher self, in my inner knowing, and really exploring kind of these altered states of consciousness and living a life where I live in a space that I feel is comfortable and beautiful, and I don't feel financially scared.

on a regular basis, I feel like this is my launch pad for whatever is coming next for me. I have plans. I have feelings about those plans, but I don't really know. But what I do know is that the nervous system is a part of it for me. So I'm going to share, kind of took, I've been reading a lot. I mean, I read a lot, but on conscious awareness and silence specifically,

and cultivating this calm, peaceful silence within myself. And within that, I've also been, like I said, reading about the nervous system, learning about the nervous system. And not on any, I'm an expert about the nervous system level, but more so how can I understand about my nervous system when I'm in that flight or fight state and when I'm in a...

a productive powered down state, not just that vegetable scrolling kind of, yeah, vegetable state, but more so that nourishing, peaceful, easeful, powered down state. So basically, there's a state where your nervous system is regulated and you feel present, you feel connected, and

Jina Seer (21:18.945)

something that I hear over and over, because I've been like, okay, what is this? How do I know when I'm there? Because it seems I'm not there and it's like stressing me out even more because it leads to insomnia and more freaking out about gray hair. You know what I mean? Or not gray hair necessarily, but just like freaking out about shit that doesn't matter. Like aging and shit like that.

And so it's like, how can I, when I know I'm in the thought patterns of my own fight or flight, how can I shift into this regulated state? And how do I know, bless you, Roxanne, and how do I know that I'm in that regulated state, right? So I've been just reading more and paying attention when people talk about, reading more about it specifically and paying attention when, you know, consciousness or awareness, people talk about it.

And it's this present connected feeling. But something else people say too is it's like, you feel human. And it's like, what the fuck does that mean? What does that mean? I, what? What does that mean? I don't feel human, I don't think. That's why I'm here. So anyway, if that connects to you, great. But to me, it's really a present connected, calm, wise feeling.

I see it all and I'm choosing my focus. And then there's the fight or flight state of your nervous system, which you've probably heard of before. It's that, it's like an urgent feeling, you're scanning. And even though you're scanning, it's like very narrow, it's jolty, it's too quick to maybe even pick up things. And speaking of quick, it's like a mental speedy feeling.

this is how I feel it, like a mental speedy feeling. And I'm always trying to fix something. I'm always trying to like lay out a plan, make a list. And this is just like in my brain. And to me, it's like, it's not that I never wanna feel that way. It's just, don't want that to be my default anymore. Cause that's obviously uncomfortable and uses a lot of energy. And then there's the freeze state. That's like your numb.

Jina Seer (23:38.223)

glazed over just kind of in a fog. And to me, this is like when I start to have feelings of like, what's the use? None of it matters anyway. Why do we care? I wish I didn't care. F this place, whatever. So that's like that freeze numb state. And you might have different thoughts or practices with it, but for me that...

it's really about what's going on in my thoughts. And that is when I know I'm in that like powered down state that's numb, glazed over, like not where I wanna be. And then there's also a part of that, which is the fawn, which is pleasing, over-explaining, outsourcing authority. And to me that kind of the, what's the point and the fawning and the pleasing and the over-explaining.

Dude, those are so ingrained in me. I almost just think my best bet right now is just to be like, yo, I'm not gonna try to change it. This is just a meditation and being present and understanding when this shit is in the driver's seat. It's fine, but I prefer you to be in the trunk, not in the driver's seat. And so for me, it's like...

not only understanding when they might be in the driver's seat because of the thoughts that I'm noticing, but also being like, where can I use this energy to my advantage? Like, sure, there's a fawn state that I was in the majority of the first few decades of my life without knowing it. And so that's a well-grained groove within me. It's a easy pattern. And to be honest,

It brings the fucking vibe up of every room I'm in, which I could use to my advantage somehow, right? And I find that very validating and affirming. So it's like, where can I use my fawning capabilities, but in a way that's like nourishing to me and creates a really cool vibe. You know, not that I would be in the fawn state.

Jina Seer (25:54.137)

but I would just be taking that energetic flow, that ability within me and being like, kind of feels good to be in this space with you all, but you know, and if you think of it, I guess when I'm saying it now, I think of the group hypnosis I wanna do, where it's like, we're all in the same room together, not Zoom, not the internet, we're all in the same room together. Like, I just love creating a vibe. I love going hard for a group in a room and just being like, it really gives me a jolt.

It's so delightful for me to bring up the vibe in a group like that, and especially an open group of people, like people willing to do a group hypnotic journey. I mean, that's a group I want to hang out with, you know? And so it's like, how can I not only know when I'm there and it's harming me, but how can I intentionally call on these abilities within me, these old coping mechanisms that seems like I won't ever really get rid of them?

If I'm gonna be aware of them, how can I use them to my advantage? And so all of that, right? And then there is the power down, like nourishing state. And that is ideally where we fall asleep from. That's where better sleep starts earlier in our night. That is where we have our calm emotions. And that is where...

we have the most access to that small, still voice inside of us. That is where we can get clear and become really aware of, okay, what thoughts are leading the show right now? What stories am I telling myself about this? What beliefs do I have that could block me on my way to get to this thing that I want? All of that is way easier, way clearer when we're

in that regulated state. Because here's the thing, when we're in that activated state, we are scanning, we are operating from a place of fear and old programming. And that is absolutely 100 % not where I want to make even one effing decision. Even if someone has the worst weapon pointed at me, I don't even want to make a decision from that space at that time. And so

Jina Seer (28:17.369)

to me being able to get there and have these practices with the nervous system is really just like this grounded action plan that makes me so excited. Okay, so like a good little student, I wanted to take some notes and talk to you just about kind of my understanding of the nervous system.

on a little bit deeper level. So if you're still here and you're still listening, I wanna talk a little bit more about it. Okay, so when your nervous system is regulated, and one thing they call it is like ventral state. So you feel grounded, you feel connection without like losing yourself. You feel like yourself even when you're with and connected to other people, you can like...

assert your point of view or have a boundary or express discomfort or discontent without attacking. You don't over explain. This is for me. And, you know, you, you avoid, you're obviously not in the state of that freeze state. And to me, another thing too, is like, do I feel like I'm performing? And that can feel different at different times. So

To me, that's where I wanna be when I'm creating. That's where I wanna be all the time, but specifically, specifically when I'm creating, when I'm leading other people, when I'm just even by myself, it's just this really nice state to be. And honestly, I think that that's why we strive for money. That's why we strive for partnership. That's why we strive to be...

attractive. That's why we strive for whatever. It's what we really want is to feel grounded and connected and wise and in control of our emotions. And that is what that ventral state is. That is that calm, grounded, nervous system state that when I'm awake, that's where I want to be. Okay, so that is the ventral state of the nervous system. It's regulated.

Jina Seer (30:39.715)

You feel grounded, connected, but not connected like you're losing yourself in that connection. Like you are authentically you in that connection, right? Obviously that's an issue for me. Okay, not over explaining, not performing. But when I'm not in that state, I shift into fight or flight. And to me, this is like hustling. I got something to prove. I'll be worthy when I'll feel good enough when.

This can come in as comparing myself to other people for sure, but really it's like what dominates it is this feeling of like, I'm behind, I have something to prove. And it's just, I hear it before I feel it or I'm aware of it often. And it's this like, I will say things like, after this week, my work will be more manageable. After this month, my work will be more manageable. And it's like,

That's always the story. What's even more insane is that I'm in charge. What the hell? So I know I'm in that state when I'm feeling that way or having those thoughts. And then there's kind of the collapse, the freeze portion of that, which they call dorsal state. And that's to me when it's like nothing matters. Like nothing matters.

I this voice that comes in says Gina there in this world there is really no use for someone like you like it none of it matters evil has already won that's it it's over you're wasting your time do something else and when that gets really bad it's almost like it's almost like my mind just drifts and I'm

It's like I can't, it's like I know what's happening, but I feel that glazed over feeling. It's like nothing matters. You know, whatever. And so I don't want to be in those states. And so one of the things that I think of it as is like embodied leadership. It's like how I want to feel. Helps me be a better leader because I.

Jina Seer (32:58.063)

I feel better when I'm nourishing myself. So when I can think about how do I wanna feel when I'm leading people, when I'm creating a podcast episode, when I'm leading a group hypnosis, when I'm working with a client. And I know that the more I can access that ventral state, the more I can just rework my default setting, and the more aware I can be of slipping into these other...

you know, really uncomfortable and even energy draining states for me. Becoming more aware of that helps me prevent them, helps me to redirect and help me feel better quicker if I notice myself kind of in that spin.

Jina Seer (33:41.539)

So no surprise, doing this kind of deeper dive into information about the nervous system and how I can make those shifts, then I naturally always try to look for the overlap of like, does hypnosis help this? Besides the, you know, completely obvious to me when we're going into a hypnotic induction, we do a full body relaxation. And that is a resetting of your nervous system. That is a calming of your nervous system.

So you're in that nervous system state where you're deeply relaxed and your nervous system is calm and clear and grounded. So outside of that, something that always comes up, right, is like the idea of the hypnotic suggestion, belief implantation. And really when we're guiding someone into trance, at least in my sessions and the way I've trained hypnotists to do it, is we're...

guiding them to slow down their breath, to focus their thoughts, to increase their body awareness, to intentionally release and relax their body in the soft tissues of their body. And so in that space, we're not only feeling really good, but we've calmed down the physical body enough so we can access more of our knowing.

more of that still small voice. And that's another reason too why I call hypnotic journey so healing. It's because of this relaxation, but also because of the shifts in perspective, we come out just feeling more wise, feeling less triggered, less agitated by the world because of that wisdom. And it's also really strengthening that relaxed, calm, grounded state.

in your nervous system. And so on the Seer Sessions podcast once a month, there's a nighttime hypnotic journey that gets released and that's designed for people to listen to for 30 nights in a row. Like you're literally rehearsing every single night, resetting your nervous system.

Jina Seer (35:58.281)

And honestly, when it comes to the nervous system, what I said before about secure attachment, another part of like always journaling and connecting to my higher self is that that's another secure attachment figure in my life. And so for you to take a higher self hypnosis journey, you're building an internal secure attachment figure too.

Jina Seer (36:25.409)

And then when you do a guided past life journey, you're essentially kind of like learning new ways to embody different facets of a nervous system based on different emotions, based on different perspectives and thoughts. It's almost like you're able to really metabolize it and get it in your body. So you get like the metaphor, the symbolism while you're in that trance state.

but you're also getting that full body activation too. And so all of that increases the capacity to stay regulated, to stay regulated even when shit is going down, shit is stressful. Things would normally trigger you can allow you to stay in that calm centered state. So I thought that was cool. Like what a cool overlap and just anytime

I don't know, I'm always impressed by hypnosis and like the magic that it brings to my life. And I'm always so happy when I know that. And then I'm like, and I'm doing this work. That's so good. It's so good. Cause that would be awful if I was being proved wrong, I guess. Okay, so essentially hypnosis can train you into kind of that safe and regulated state. With that,

I'm going to give you a little practical tool, just a little clear center, a little check in for yourself. Get centered and clear. So do this now or just listen. It's so simple. Just listen to it and remember it and use it when you're feeling really agitated or maybe you're you kind of are like me and you get dissociated, you get disconnected from your body and you have to be like, what are the thoughts that are signaling? My body is in this.

state that is agitated and triggered and how can I get it to a different space? Okay, so when you notice that you can use this to get you to a different space. So just take one hand on your chest.

Jina Seer (38:36.816)

and one hand on your belly.

And then I want you to take three deep breaths. But before you do that, I want you to, when you inhale, you're gonna inhale for the count of like four, five, or six. And when you exhale, you're gonna exhale to the count of six, seven, or eight. You want your exhales longer than your inhales.

and the end of that exhale should feel like you're almost like, like getting it all out. That's how the end of that exhale should feel. So that's really important. We want the exhales to be longer than the inhales. I don't remember the exact specifics, but it does something to the CO2 in your body, which also helps our nervous system kind of downshift in a productive, nourishing way. So right now, take those three,

long, deep breaths with an extra long exhale.

Jina Seer (39:53.35)

Just do it at your own count. Do that full exhale. And just know that I'm sitting here with you.

Jina Seer (40:09.51)

And after that third deep breath, just return to the natural rhythm of your breath.

and in this space.

Just check in with your body.

No need to make a change or a judgment. Just feel what you feel.

Jina Seer (40:32.395)

Notice the peace.

Jina Seer (40:38.166)

Even if it's 1 % of your awareness, just focus on it. Focus on something in you that feels soft, peaceful.

and just allow that feeling to grow within you.

Jina Seer (40:59.356)

Feel your shoulders relax.

Jina Seer (41:05.308)

Feel your hips soften.

Jina Seer (41:10.642)

Feel the corners of your mouth tip upward.

Jina Seer (41:20.666)

And whenever you're ready, just blink open your eyes, maybe take another deep, energizing breath.

Jina Seer (41:29.98)

But that simple practice, even if it was uncomfortable this time, even if you didn't feel as much peace as you thought you should, know that every time you do it, the better at that you'll get. And I am a prime candidate to doubt that. And I did it. And it works for me. It's so simple. It's your breath. It's free. It's always with you. If it's not with you, you probably don't need it.

Okay, next episode coming March 13th, you'll get the full session, well, most of the session, just for, to keep it relatively brief and not to have a two hour episode. I pulled out some clips, but throughout the whole thing, I'm narrating it. So you get most of the episode and through the narration clips.

You'll all fill in the blanks, anything that you missed in the episode. But I'm excited to share it with you, excited to hear what you think about all the things I learned when I was on the Red Planet, learning more about inner knowing, my own self-trust, all of those things. It was very expansive, and I'm looking forward to putting it out there and seeing what you all think of it. All right, everybody, until then.
