Welcome. I'm so happy to see you all here. It's been a while since I've led a group hypnosis. Like I didn't lead any, I don't think in 2025. And if I did, I'm totally spacing on it, but I'm super pumped to be back. I am just like, I'm just like looking at your faces. I'm like, yay, I love having you here.

And then we have Mary and Nina and so we got kind of a mix. I'm not sure, you know, where the discussion's exactly gonna go tonight, what kind of questions might come up, but I will, let me just pull up this agenda here. Okay, so I, all right, so a couple of things just to orient you, we have 75 minutes here, so we'll go through a little bit of an intro.

There'll be time for you to ask questions and then we'll go through the hypnotic journey. And then there'll be time for you to reflect afterwards, journal, ask any questions that you want to. And I'll tell you more about the journey and where we're going in there. Just to orient you, we have the meeting group chat. You can enter your questions in there if you want to. And so it's kind of a fun way to come together too, not only to be in that group energy and intention, but also just to be in a space where you can like

immediately ask a question after your hypnotic journey. yeah, and like I said, whether you're brand new to this, whether you've done it a million times, there's always a benefit to going deep and going within. And so I'll answer all your questions and then we'll have time to get into it. Even more questions if you have them. Okay, so let me pull this up here. So our journey today is to the higher self.

Okay, can y'all see my screen? Okay, cool. All right, so the way I describe the higher self, I'm pretty, labels mean something to me, but to me they're more a starting point than anything. So to me, what I mean when I say the higher self is it's just that like calm, still, quiet voice inside of you. We all have it, it's our gut knowing.

It's authentically who we are. That's the source. That's how we understand our purpose in life. That's how we understand what gifts we have to share. But it's also helpful when it's like, should I bring a sweater today or not? You know, being like, is this my intuition or am I just being paranoid? Like knowing the difference between that, knowing what that voice sounds like inside of you can benefit our life so much. So that's what I call the higher self.

It's really tied to my spiritual beliefs. I believe that I'm a soul who lives eternity. it life after life? Is it all happening at once? I'm not really sure. But I do believe that this soul is learning and growing wherever she is. And I know she is in this life. And so if there is more than one version of me, that higher self would be like the part of my soul that's like closest to source, closest to God, closest to creation, however you see that. It's really,

I really want to emphasize it's not something outside of you. It's you without the interference, the influence, the programming, and the noise. So that's what I mean when I say, hi yourself. So you might call it inner knowing, you might call it intuition, you might call it your true self, your real self, you could call it something else. But that's the language that I use. So if you see it as something different, and this goes for any words that I use in a hypnotic journey, you can always just like flip it in your mind.

And can always just say to your subconscious mind, when she says, hi, herself, I mean, true self or real self or whatever it is that you identify more with that. And that's a way to train your little subconscious mind in that as well. Okay. So what hypnosis actually is, what we're doing is we're regulating the nervous system. So we are bringing down the heart rate. We are putting you into that.

more relaxed state. We're moving you out of fight or flight, which most of us, given the world that we live in, most of us, we are kind of battling at least low levels of that stress response in our body. So this gives us a time to like really slow down and quiet, not only our body, but our mind too. And to do it in a really nourishing way. We can slow down the nervous system and go into more of this dorsal setting where we're just kind of like,

vegetable state scrolling. Like if you think we've all been there before, like that is a downshifted nervous system, but it's like a freeze response. So it still is a response to stress. And what's cool about hypnosis is that whether you're someone who kind of battles with the wild nervous system or not, when we go into that hypnotic trance, deep, deep relaxation is a part of that. And so you know that you're in that really nourishing, supportive nervous system state.

where we're in more of that rest, digest, as opposed to like fight, flight, freeze, fawn, all that stuff. And then when we're in that hypnotic trance state, we are incredibly focused. Most of the time we do not focus that hard on anything. It is crazy how hard it is to focus. If I tell you to don't think about cheesecake right now, don't think about cheesecake right now, don't think about cheesecake right now. Are you thinking about cheesecake? Yeah, it's hard.

Like there's so much going on around us and most of us just kind of have a little monkey mind that's bebopping all over. So when we come into that relaxed nervous system, we are fully relaxed mind and body. It's easy for us to focus our attention. And in that we're able to even clear out that internal noise. And we can kind of, I think of it as not only clear out or quiet that internal noise, but even just

understand what that internal noise is. If you listen to my podcast for any amount of time, it might be clear that I deal with like a very strong inner critic. And for me, a part of my process has been like being able to let that go completely at times. But there are parts of me that that critic, that inner critic is always there. And so if that inner critic is going to be there, I want to know

what she is saying and I would rather hear her screams from the trunk of the car than have her be in the driver's seat and not have me know. So it's really about kind of figuring out influences, thought patterns, programming that we don't want to take on. That's what we're able to do. That's what we're able to get real clear on when we're in this really relaxed, hyper attentive state. And we don't

feel anything. A lot of people think, am I going to feel like out of it? And I have a whole spiel on, which I should record a little video on, stage hypnosis and what happens to us really when we're like, out of it in the name of healing. But really what we, God, where was I going with that? I get so many tangents. I even keep my notes and I still go on these tangents. Okay, so

Basically what that does is it allows us to like really see what is influencing us. We were we are always influenced and so if you're anything like me going into these hypnotic journeys when I question behaviors blocks things I can't get beyond Oftentimes it's kind of like these same root issues and I can let things go but just knowing that they're there knowing that I can Take a time where I'm like, is this self-doubt? Is this paranoia?

when I'm not trusting myself, when I can come into hypnosis and like really regulate myself, focus my attention, quiet the internal noise and really be able to decipher like what is me, what do I wanna act on, what is my clarity, what is my truth here? So that's why we use hypnosis to access that clear knowing or clear center, our higher self. That's why it works so well. Okay, and then what this changes in you.

obviously you're going to have less mental noise. You're going to have more self-trust and less emotional drain. Mental noise is so distracting. It's like the voices in our head. It's what we think is true. It's this constant narration that a lot of us have. And it can be just this low level grading on us and really draining energy. When we know ourselves, know what we truly want and are able to access that, we're

more able to trust ourself. When we're making decisions from places of like programming or we don't really know what we want, that's what causes self-doubt. That's what makes us go, I want that thing, but maybe I made a mistake or I made that decision and now I'm regretting it. Which one is right? And all of that is so draining and obviously like erodes your self-confidence as well.

managing all of that, managing a busy mind, managing that mental noise is so draining. I know for me personally, when I go through times where I'm like mentally low and at one point I was working, I was going through a lot of mentally low times and I was working with an acupuncturist and they do, they like measure your life force, right? And when I would have a few days where I would just be like, my inner critic was really loud, my mental noise was really loud. If I would go to

acupuncture, she would like measure however they measure like when they take your pulse or whatever. And she would be like, we were working with her, we were able to see like, actually physically how much that negative thought process inside my mind would drain like the life force out of me. And I thought that was really interesting because it was something I always had a hunch about. But of course I like doubted myself.

And then it was like when this acupuncturist was like, no, this is real. Like this is something that's actually happening to you. was like, dang, this is actually really incredible. The amount of energy we can get back and we can feel when we make that just a little bit more clear within us. Even if it does get noisy in there, we still have access to that clarity. But overall, that noise really comes down.

Okay, so for this, I just wanna do a little reminder. When we are going into these hypnotic journeys, we're going to your higher self and we're gonna do a hypnotic induction to get there. So that looks and feels a lot like a guided meditation. And in that space, you'll just relax and listen. If your mind wanders, that's okay, you're human with a brain. Come back to the words, just acknowledge it. Come back to the words, envision as this journey unfolds in front of you.

then eventually we're going to be in the space of your higher self. And in that time, I'm going to be asking questions and you're just going to observe what comes to mind. So we're going to be asking questions that just kind of help you get in tune with like your inner signal, your higher self. And the idea with that is that you're in that space when you hear me ask a question, you just relax and listen, just listen what comes to mind.

and don't question it, don't be like, I doing it wrong? You're not doing it wrong. And it's when we come out afterward that you'll sit up and if you have questions, you can ask them. I'll encourage you to write or journal anything you don't wanna forget. But it really is at that time afterward, after the hypnotic journey that we ask the questions like, why did that come in? Or why did you get that answer? Or why did you experience that thing in response to that question?

When we're actually in that state, what we want to be doing is just be open to it. Think of it as like data collection. That's how I think of it. Almost like you're a reporter. You're like, I don't know, I'm just paying attention to what comes to my mind. And it really is that simple. So with hypnosis, again, it's literally what comes to mind. It is so, so subtle. It's so subtle that we miss it all the time. I think of it like at time, very anxious person, which is how I got into this work.

But when I am feeling very anxious and I do something to calm my nervous system, like something in the moment, like a deep breath, something like that, I'll often yawn. And yawning is a signal that your body is like downshifting into this relaxed state. And you'll start to see too, like, and as a hypnotist, like a lot of people going into trance will yawn.

as they start to move into that state. And it really is that subtle. Oftentimes people will be like, I'm not, I don't know if I'm hypnotized. I don't feel hypnotized. And it doesn't feel foreign. You're just in a really, really relaxed state. And those doubts often creep in when we are in hypnosis for the first time or the first time in a while, or if we're just in self-doubt mode, sometimes we can kind of get into that patch. But this is just your reminder, like really just

let all of that stuff go. You can't do this wrong. It'll get easier and easier every time you do it. It's a learned skill. And so it'll get easier and easier every time you do it. Okay. Okay. Any questions before we get started?

It's so funny, because when I record like a Instagram video or something, there's usually at least one tangent in there where I'm like, it's usually two or three videos that I end up recording, because I'm like, stay on topic woman. Okay, so no questions, know that you can ask them at any time. All right, so we're gonna get ready for this journey.

Comfort is the most important thing. So put yourself on mute. If you wanna turn off your camera, you can do that. You can sit upright, you can be reclined, you can be laying down completely. I always recommend having some blankets, some layers on. I love dim lighting, but however you do it, just make sure you're comfortable, not like you feel like your eyes are kind of squinting, even if you do have the lights on.

And then, yeah, if you want a journal and pen nearby, we'll use that afterward. And then I always just recommend water in case you get a little frog in your throat or something. And then you have that there. So with that in mind, we are gonna take this journey to your higher self. So go ahead and get comfy. And I am going to pull up this script.

All right. So like I said, the replays are always gonna be available for you. if you feel like, you know, I always say this on an evening group hypnosis situation for sure. If you fall asleep, if you're someone who is kind of lacking sleep, you might fall asleep, resist the urge if you can by focusing on the words, but just know that if you fall asleep, that's okay. You're still getting the positive messages in your subconscious mind. You won't get all the information because you're sleeping.

But you can always come back to this and whether you are awake the whole time or not for this, you can always come back to this. You can do it as much as you want. It's always just a good way to kind of recalibrate. All right, so just getting comfortable wherever you are.

And just know that as we start this and you begin to sink in and get relaxed.

Just know that it's totally okay if you have to like itch your nose, scratch your arm, adjust blankets or clothing. It's all a part of the relaxation process.

Feel yourself where you are.

and just be open to playing with this altered state of consciousness, playing in your intuition on our journey to access your higher self.

And for now, I want you to just focus on your breath.

Just feel that breath move in and out of your body.

and feel your body move with your breath.

Feel yourself relax, soften, sink just a little bit more with each exhale.

share. Ooh, I would love to hear. I think the one thing, I mean, I saw a lot of stuff. but the one thing that I got when, you were asking about like belief in yourself or like self confidence, my higher self was sort of like laughing. she said humans like to use the phrase like YOLO.

And she was like, it's close. She's like, but you have countless lives that you could live. And if you think about it in terms of, you know, I have all the opportunities in the world. Like, why wouldn't you just do it? Because God just experienced things. And she's like, if you don't experience it, you'll get to another time.

But she's like, if you think about it, what's the point of feeling a lack of confidence or scared to do something because maybe whatever your human brain is telling you. And she's just like, you're going to do those things regardless at some point.

You'll have thousands of opportunities. So if you think of it like that, it's like, it's no big deal. So, yeah, yeah, I try. I definitely try to kind of use that, like YOLO a little bit, just enough because I don't really believe it's just this one life, but YOLO enough where I'm like squeezing the most out of this one. You know what mean? YOLO in this body with this mind. Yeah. Well, and she's like, well, you probably have done it.

thousands of times before. So it's no big deal, you know, your human brain that makes you feel like you're not eternal. that, and Becky, for me, when I'm in that space of the higher self and I get a response like that, it's totally different when I'm in a trance state and I get that message from my higher self, it's totally different in terms of impact.

in like how I take it with me as opposed to like when I just hear you say it. You know? Like to me, I have so much as Gina in this Earth suit with this brain, I have so much self-doubt. And so like when I go into that space of the higher self, it's almost like the amnesia of life on Earth wears off and I'm like, yeah, that's right. Okay. I'm taking it all too seriously and some of this I'm not taking serious enough. You know what I'm taking the wrong thing seriously.

Yes. Yeah, but it can be such like a good reminder or a time where you're like feeling it so viscerally. Yeah. Yeah, that's cool. The last thing I'll say is this was a really good like, I mean, I'm very connected with my intuition, but I have been feeling disconnected. And this was like a real good like

like trigger for my memory of like what a yes feels like, what a no feels like, you know? Like those are things I haven't thought about in a long time. So it's kind of like a nice refresher. Yes. Yeah. And I kind of think like intuition is like a mode of communication. think of like intuition is like how we're getting these messages. And so to practice that or go back and check in and be like, I think things have changed.

Because it's like doing this work for so long, so many people will be like, I just feel disconnected right now. And I go through times where I feel more disconnected than other times. But in times that I'm not feeling connected, those are always times that I look back on and I'm like, I felt like shit, that was really hard. It could have been easier. You know what I mean? But also I think for me, I go through those times of disconnection to reignite like this passion for and this appreciation.

to my connection to my higher self, to that part of myself. And I really do just kind of see it as like a flux in my perception of it as opposed to whether it really is there or not. Because how we communicate changes. I mean, we grow and change. And so it would make sense that like when we...

you know, spend time with the higher self working our intuition, working that part of our brain, that of course we're going to grow in a chain and change. And so those signals would change. That's good to know. I love that. Yeah. Thank you. Yeah. I actually just did that recently with my higher self of like rechecking in on a yes or a no. And the signal was the same because I went back and looked at my journal from like the last time I did it, but I had forgotten it.

Like I had forgotten like, yeah, that's right. Like the depth of it, the nuance of it, you know, like, right, the effervescence. It's not just in my chest. It's like my whole torso. You know what I mean? It's like coming out of that into the earth world. It's like, we kind of get this amnesia. It's really interesting, I think, kind of that dance. Thanks for sharing that, Becky. much and I've been feeling it so much you guys this like what's the point this place is awful you know but that too it's just like how can I use that feeling within me if that's a response within me how can I use it to like fuel me push me farther do the work I want to do do the work I want to do talk about it in front of people who I might be like a little afraid to talk about it you know it's like it kind of gives me this like I'm trying to

let that give me courage to do even more of it. And I have connected with my higher self so many times and it really is a skill. Like the more you do this, the easier it'll get, the more you'll get. And I take those questions to my higher self now when I'm just like, what the F is this about? Why is this going on? What can I do with this? Why am I like this? know, whatever it is that I'm dealing with.

I bring those questions to my higher self and every higher self journey that I have on the podcast, it always ends with like anything else your higher self wants you to know. And you can always, you can use that just for like a catch all. But if you have a burning question, bring it to the front of your mind and see what you get like in that space. Because I don't know, sometimes I think especially

going within kind of borderline spiritual stuff, we feel like we need to have it all figured out or we need to be like totally clean and perfect and on our game and connected to go connect. And it's like, show up dirty, show up pissed, show up annoyed. I, to me that moving into that space of my higher self, it's almost like this cleansing of that. And it's like, yeah, dude, that's why you came, Gina. you're going to back out now?

It's like, shit. You know, but it's not just me. I think it's all of us. I don't think any of us came here at this time by accident. Maybe a few of us did. I mean, I can think of a few right now who I think maybe they did, but. But I think all of us came here for a reason, you know, and it doesn't matter if that reason is quiet or loud and to stay connected to it and to know that like these are hard times. These are

crying ass times. And so it is okay to feel disconnected. It is okay to feel frustrated. Take that to your higher self. Like take it, take it there. I one time went through this horrible week. I like had a patio fire like a year and a half ago and I just felt so disconnected, so discombobulated, so disassociated.

And it was like 10 days went by or like a week went by before I thought I'm going to go check in with my higher self. And you guys, it was like, it was like I was a little kid running to my mom. Like it makes me tear up just thinking about it because it's like this part of us that it's just always there. It's always wise. I've had a really hard week. Sorry about the tears, but it is like our connection to that divine.

a time when it's so difficult. So if you're feeling that it's difficult, it is. Like, yes, this is me. And like, we all have a life and we all go through ups and downs. But like, that's just exacerbated right now. So like, get in your groups, get with your people. I have people around me who remind me, like, remember you're an empath, this maybe isn't all your shit. You know, like

This isn't all you, because I have this tendency to take everything on. This must be my fault. And I don't think that's just me. I think a lot of us are like that, because we're all really actually very powerful, which is why we take it all on, because we can, and we do a really good job with it. But if we don't know what we're doing, we don't have that connection to ourself, we can easily drain our energy, burn ourselves out, get us into a depression.

And really, you guys, now is the time when we really need to, I feel like, band together, do the work, and really be a regulated nervous system in the room. Be a calm, wise person in every circle that you're in. And it's not that we can't have bad days, but we have way more good days. And when we connect to each other, I think it's easier to bring that out and...
