Who gets the deciding vote in your life? | Seer Sessions podcast with Jina Seer
Seer Sessions #290
What happens when you finally do something you want and feel guilty anyway?
In this episode, Jina Seer explores self-possession: belonging to yourself while navigating your emotions, your values, and other people’s reactions. She shares the unexpected guilt that accompanied a long-awaited road trip, the cost of managing someone else’s fear, and the small ways she supported herself while a new choice still felt unfamiliar.
This conversation offers questions and personal reflections for recognizing what’s influencing your decisions, checking guilt against your own integrity, and giving yourself support as you grow into a life you want.

TRANSCRIPT
Hey everyone, it's Jina. You're listening to Seer Sessions. Last month on the podcast, we went deep into knowing what you want. A lot of times people get into a healing journey, they start seeking more because they realize they've been living by maybe a program or a set of beliefs that have really held them back. And when they pause and really try to answer the question, what do you want in your life? They just kind of go blank.
Like they can read a room, they can tell anyone else what they could do with their potential. But when it comes to them, they have a hard time figuring that out. So if that's you, go back to the last couple episodes. You're gonna want to take that hypnotic journey and then I have a conversation about it at the beginning of September. Well, what we're doing this month in October on Sear Sessions is kind of the next step on that process.
A lot of times when people wake up to that part of their journey when they're like, wow, I have all these beliefs and all of these values and programs that are influencing me and running my life in a way that doesn't work for me anymore. They start to get clear on what would work. What do they want in their life? And when they start working that and getting that information, we often start to see how much influence all the other people in our life have.
on how we operate. It can be a really frustrating part of the process. But as someone who is talking to you from putting in, I don't know, millions of reps on this over the last 20 years, now I start to see like these times when I kind of wake up to a limiting belief or a perspective that is making my life more challenging that I don't need to have.
In that time between I'm aware of it and it's gone, I don't even think about it, is this space for me. And I think a lot of people where I'm aware of it, I'm aware of the reaction within me, I'm aware of how that reaction will influence the decisions I make or the things I say. And I'm aware that these are old things I want to do better.
Jina Seer (02:13.164)
And I think at that point some people can kind of get frustrated. Like, is it ever gonna end? There always seems to be something new to deal with. And that's just life. Like, life is a series of problems. Our brains are wired to search for these problems. So I at least like to be pointed in a direction that is serving me, serving my highest and greatest good, because I know that when I am serving my highest and greatest good, I am ultimately.
Better able to serve the world and the highest and greatest good of the people around me and the other people who live in this world. So, yes, it can be frustrating, but stay curious. My hope is that you come out of this conversation feeling a little bit relief, maybe a wider perspective, a different way you can see that to give yourself more energy in these types of situations and in these phases where we see this area of growth and we attack it. It can be uncomfortable.
But we can make it better with a shift in our perspective. And then I'll let you know about the hypnotic journey coming in a couple weeks. One that you'll be able to take to access your higher self, your real self, that crystal clear wisdom within you, your truest essence of you, the soul version of you. And we're gonna really dive into that. Like who gets the deciding vote when you know what you want, but the fear of someone's reaction or guilt afterward.
prevents you from moving forward or makes it challenging to move forward, what can you know during that time? What can you know about what's really important? What can you know about what to embody, what to visualize, how can you prepare for that moment? Planning what we can, but then moving forward and doing it in a way that's intentional within your integrity, that's when we can continue to learn and grow. And I think a lot of times
We think of healing or evolving and we just think of peace. And I do think we get greater peace with that. But to think that when we encounter these times of growth or change, that we're failing or that we're somehow regressing is a belief that needs to change. It's a belief that is holding us back. So who gets the deciding vote? Your judgment, their anticipated emotional reaction.
Jina Seer (04:38.488)
Feelings you want to avoid afterward, all of these things can take us over and highly influence the decisions we make, the moves we make, what direction we go in. And so while it's not always super comfortable to be aware on this level, it is being aware on this level that's gonna get you to a more
Up-leveled state of being, a way where you're actually living a life that makes you feel alive. You seem fully animated, you enjoy what's on your schedule, you look forward to your life. Because for so many reasons, we get this taken out of us. It's part human tendency, it's part the way certain generations raise people. But if we don't step in and take control over our life.
Everyone will take our energy and our time. And that's not that these people don't deserve it or they're being ruthless or rude or whatever. It's just the way it is. And when I'm thinking about this, and when I'm thinking about who and what is influencing the way I move in the world, a couple months ago I was journaling, and this term self-possessed just kept coming to my mind. Self-possessed. And
To me, it just embodies exactly what I mean by this. If you've been around a while, you know this, but my work primarily has been in past life regression and connecting to the higher self, experiencing loved ones on the other side, even entity exploration, entity removal. So when I think of my human experience, and I think of these things that influence my decision and these things that make me feel certain emotions.
I naturally think of the unseen realms around us. So I don't think of it as just guilt that I'm feeling. I think of it as something that I'm feeling that doesn't make sense because I live in my integrity. I l I have ethics and morals that I live by, and I think they're so good that we should all live by them. So if someone is against me protecting myself, protecting the human experience.
Jina Seer (06:58.202)
I it's not that I don't care, but it just shows me like we're completely different. Like I don't want that person with those ethics and morals to be influencing my life. And when I think of that influence, whether I'm conscious of it and I'm battling it or I'm going with it or I'm unconscious of it, this idea of being self-possessed is like the antidote to it. If
I am fully aware of my ethics and my morals and my direction in this life and who I am and what I stand for, then as long as I'm moving forward with compassion for myself, compassion for other people, genuinely wanting the best for other people, then someone's negative emotional reaction just means less to me. But when I didn't know who I was.
And I was always looking for this external validation because I think if we don't know who we are, if we don't have that relationship, it's natural for us to rely on the external world to tell us who we are. When I was the most confused, felt the most stuck in the most lost, in the most unfulfilled, it was because I was living my life in a way that kept the people around me happy.
And with no regard of what truly lit me up and kept me happy. It was like, well, I'll do what I can to make myself happy so I can continue to play this role for other people. And that is not a self-possessed woman. A self-possessed woman leads with herself first. That's who I want to be. The moment we wake up to it, that's when we can have control. That's when we start to have that self-possession.
Because if I am not inhabiting that role, if I am not in that driver's seat, then I am possessed by other people's emotions, other people's desires. And it's not that that's bad. It's not that I'm never gonna do those things. It's that I want to make sure those people would reciprocate. I want to make sure it is worth it for me to do that. I spent 40 years giving most of my energy to people.
Jina Seer (09:19.544)
Who I quickly found out after I stopped trying to act codependent, these people did not give a fuck about me. If I wasn't people pleasing, if I wasn't codependent, these people didn't care, which makes sense, which is why I was overgiving, which is why I was hypersensitive to their emotions and their needs. On a deep level, I knew these people are gonna kick me to the fucking curb the moment I'm doing something for myself.
And that whole shift is like more than this conversation. It was incredibly painful, but I know that I want to live self-possessed. I do not want to live a life because it makes this person feel safe, because it makes this person feel happy, because I can then take care of these things that this person doesn't want to take responsibility for. You see what I'm saying? Like when we can be fully in our power.
And fully within the belief system that I'm a whole human being and I deserve to have a life here. I deserve to use my free will and I deserve to feel nourished and I deserve to feel happy here. That's when I my only option then is to be self-possessed, to be in that driver's seat. And for me, that's how I know to not be possessed.
by other people's desires and wants for me. And what a great topic also for October. Like we think of the idea of, for example, possession. I grew up Catholic, so the idea of possession was like, you know, someone hovering off a bed, their body is as stiff as a board, they're speaking in tongues, their eyes are black. Yes, that can happen, but I believe we can become possessed by many things, many energies, many beings.
Many emotional states that we cannot see with our 3D eyeballs. So we discount them. Most of us aren't ever gonna be like full on possessed, like a horror movie. But how often are we lightly possessed in any moment that pushes us in a direction where if we were fully in the driver's seat of our life, of who we are, what we stand for, where we're going, like we would not put up with that. We would not make those decisions.
Jina Seer (11:42.09)
Now, here's what I want to say. People will often kind of look at me side eye, or when people who are not coming to this work earnestly will say what I'm talking about there is dangerous. Like you can't just do whatever you want to do. When I say you living your life and doing what you want to do, I am not talking about the leaders of this country who obviously never look into their shadows.
They are running hedonistic ham, this elite class, the Epstein people, you know, all of that. And then we have people like me who want to do good. I want to work for myself. And I have been, you know, indoctrinated into codependence mindset my whole life. It feels good to be able to use some of that and help other people feel better. So when I am talking about
Getting mine and living the life that I want to live, my whole life is dedicated to service. I'm always exploring my own consciousness, my own awareness, my own ability to change, my own ability to be more compassionate, to be a better human, to enjoy this experience more while elevating this place and not taking it down as I try to have a good time.
I believe that we can do that. We can elevate our own experience. And if we're doing it correctly, we will elevate the experience of everyone else around us. Now, maybe that means some of the people you've been overgiving to are gonna need to step up and take responsibility for things they should have taken responsibility a while ago for. Maybe that includes you, but I am not of the type of person to think that responsibility is bad.
I don't spend my life avoiding responsibility. I try to understand myself so that when I take on responsibility, it pushes me into the direction I want to go. It galvanizes me even more in the conviction in my mission for this life, for the work that I do. So how can someone make sure that the good they're going for is not only uplifting them, but everyone around them?
Jina Seer (14:02.354)
I truly believe that we are here as a result of the universe, the creator. Now, you might have a certain vision for that creator. I'm calling it source, the part of us, that soul essence. If I were to drop dead like a bag of dirt right here, the difference between me talking and me laying on the floor lifeless, that essence, that animation, that is our direct.
connection to God, source, our creator. And I choose to believe that it's a benefic, a kind, a compassionate one that's working for me. So to access my soul self, that spark of divinity that's within me, I also call that higher self, the part of me that is closer to God, closer to the creator. So when we can get to know that part of ourself,
That's, I believe, when we're creating a life of improvement, uplifting, joy that not only fully animates us, but makes us more effective, makes us understand our purpose, this life we came here to create, the gifts we have to share for other people. And I believe that that is the purpose of life. So, no, I don't think it's reckless, foolish, a waste of time for you to get to know you.
You to understand what is possessing you in any moment, whether it's the influence of someone else or the influence of your own emotions or the influence of you know both of those things, your own emotions to someone else, that's the goal. Because I truly believe that we all have goodness in us. And the more we can access that and
And experientially feel it, not just believe you're good, not just believe that you came from a benefic source, but like actually experience it. And the difference between belief and experience here, let me outline it in a different way. It's that you can believe that a marathon would be difficult to run. Okay, it's 26.2 miles. When was last time you ran a mile? When was last time you ran 10 miles? Okay, now double it. Now double it and
Jina Seer (16:24.244)
Add 50%. Now you're at 26.2 miles. You can logically get how that would be difficult. Now, if you experienced every one of those miles by running a marathon, the belief that a marathon is difficult would be completely different inside of your body. It would be truer, it would be deeper, it would be in your memory, it would be a part of your identity.
It would be how you see yourself moving forward. And that's why I'm always talking about higher self and higher self journey. Because when you can embody that higher self, that part of you, that true, that divine spark that you are, that I believe you are, then you're going to start creating a life that is even more you. But even better, it's going to be a life where you feel like so happy and excited to be on earth.
And then you're gonna spread that joy because you're gonna be living that life and people are just gonna be watching you and learning from you. I believe that is how we change the world. And I believe that that is how we become more self-possessed. Because when I experienced like the true divine essence of who I was, it started to change how I treated myself. And then that started to change how I let other people treat me.
And then that started to change how I treated other people because I'm not the only one. I'm not special. Everyone has this in them. And I know that it's free will. Someone doesn't have to acknowledge it. Someone doesn't have to want to grow and fulfill potential. Someone doesn't have to want to understand their God-given gifts and use them. Someone doesn't have to do any of that. They don't have to improve none of it.
But when I can be so clear what my mission is and why I'm here and the good I see in other people and the people who are willing to make those changes, if they're on a path at all like mine, they can collapse time and use the methods that I've used. That's the world I want to live in. So people who need me to be small, be codependent, overgive, don't grow, don't fulfill my potential in order for them to feel good.
Jina Seer (18:51.712)
After all this time, it feels good to say I used to feel guilty about that. And now I'm like, how do they not feel guilty every single day for not fulfilling their potential? How do those people not feel guilty by trying to hold me back? How do those people not feel guilty not trying to see the divinity within me, which I try to do for everyone? Someone who's not in that.
doesn't affect me much, but I get it. When you're starting out, we can have so many emotions that hold us back based on how other people feel. When I started road tripping, I used to have people in my life, one in particular, who would call me before each road trip because I told this person at the beginning that I was taking a road trip, funny me for even talking about my adult life. And I would get calls and voicemails before I left. And some of them were angry.
Like they were yelling at me because they were already preemptively fearful about what I would encounter on the road. Now I could clearly see this. So I tried to guide that person. Like, your fear is not helping my fear. It's not helping me have a safer trip at all. And it's pushing me away from you. And it feels abusive.
And I even said, can you go to therapy or talk to someone else about it when you want to call me and yell at me about it? So I did that over and over and over. Eventually it just made me angry and I was like, fuck it. I don't care what you think. And then I would go on these trips and I would be without phone service and it would make this person very agitated. They would call me, yell at me over voicemail because they were afraid and afraid, so afraid for me they had to yell at me about it. And then they would get this other person in my family.
All riled up, and then they'd both be calling me. So I'd come out of the wilderness feeling peaceful and refreshed, only to be verbally attacked by these people who refused to acknowledge and process their own fear about my own adult life that I was having. And this was after what I could see only at that time, decades.
Jina Seer (21:05.408)
Of me walking a tightrope of I want these things, but some of these things I don't want to do because I don't want to pay the emotional tax. I want to I don't want to put in the effort to escort these people who are so fearful, so require me to be there and to be their caregiver at all times. P.S. I'm not a mother. I've never wanted to be a mother. I felt like I had to parent my parents growing up. No, thank you. I've never wanted to be a mother.
So it took me until 40 to be like, my God, I am consistently around these people who are like toddlers. And I had to become so clear on what that took from me. I allowed them to possess me and run my life. Like I just want to be with me, get to know me, understand my gifts, share my gifts with people and people who want.
To verbally abuse me over that. People who won't ask me questions, like if I'm making you feel negatively and you feel like you need to talk about it, like I'm here, let's have a difficult conversation. That's actually how humans get closer. But sometimes we start to clearly see how these people are trying to possess us. And that alone can help us like.
Disconnect from that guilt. And then when we have experience after experience, hypnotic journeys where we feel that divine essence, that who we are, and we really get convicted in why am I here? What's the purpose of this life? What did I come here to create? What gifts do I have to share? When you just mind your own business and like go down that curiosity journey.
You become even less influenced by other people's emotions because you're so into your own and you're so clear on the good that you're doing in this world. That someone trying to make you feel guilty because you didn't spend every Friday night with them or every Saturday with them or whatever, like someone trying to make you feel guilty because you're using your own life, like you will start to see how disgusting that is.
Jina Seer (23:24.778)
And I don't think I'm above anybody, but I am above behaviors and emotions. And when someone tries to make me feel guilty, you can't. I will analyze it because I analyze my own behavior all the time. And if I feel a twinge of guilt, I'm like, what is this? I need to live in alignment with my own morals and ethics. Otherwise, that's when I feel guilty. I didn't birth any children. I
I took care of people for too long. Now I'm trying to live my own life. And if you are gonna make me feel guilty about that, that reflects more on that person than me at this point. But I had to put in the reps. I had to continually believe in myself. And so at a time when I was like at a crossroads of feeling guilty and being aware, for example, guilt, it could be a million other negative emotions, but
We become influenced by people's reactions to the things that we want to do. We're sensitive, empathetic people. We need to be leading. We need to show people how do you know and respect the subtle things within me, within you. So anyone who's trying to guilt you into doing things that you shouldn't that pull you away from yourself and where you're going.
That's more of an indicator of them. And if the more you can see that, the more you will see that the guilt you're feeling should be coming from them for holding you back. Like I am so far down this road that even if someone's like, hey, I'm going after my dreams and now I don't have time for you in my life, I'm still okay with that. Are you kidding? I'm a woman who's lived through her 30s.
Every single one of my friends chose her partner and her kids over me, which is the way it should be, right? So I don't, I've never I've never gotten mad at someone about them choosing their path. Now I can sit back and be like, geez, it seems like those things are really making you upset. That's a different conversation, and that's none of my business unless they want to talk to me about it. So it's uncomfortable, but the more we can be in these feelings that
Jina Seer (25:47.694)
Push us to do things we'd rather not do, the more we can understand ourself in that energetic push and pull, the easier it is to look at feelings like dread or guilt or doubt and be like, whoa, whoa, what's really going on here? Now, sometimes when we're in this process, we can know that we're on the right track, we can have the right conversation.
The people can be very supportive and we still feel guilty for no reason. There's like no reason. This person said they're fine with it. I should be okay with it. And it's in that time that I my practice was always a number of different things. But when I'm feeling something that I don't understand or I don't want to feel or I know there's a better way, I always journal. I always
Always do a higher self journaling session. I've done so much hypnosis. I have explored my higher self energy on such a level that I am familiar with how it feels, how it feels in my body, how the messages feel coming in. So I don't necessarily need a hypnotic induction to get myself there. And it's not bad if you do. you probably don't actually, but it's easier to get there with a hypnotic.
with the hypnotic induction, which is why I offer it. So I access my higher self and I just write, I free write about that thing. The nasty shit, the gross shit, the things I don't want to hear, the things I wish wasn't true. And in that I always find my next level. Always. I always feel better when I'm done journaling, when I'm done being in the energy of my higher self.
And I always get clarity in that space. And then the clarity keeps coming. Always. And at this point on my journey, I still get overwhelmed by negative feelings. And it doesn't happen that often. And now when it happens, it happens for like an hour, maybe an afternoon. It's so uncomfortable. It's so outside of my natural state.
Jina Seer (28:08.514)
That if I can, the moment I can, I'm journaling about it. I'm thinking deeply about it. And my days are bookend with time for me to just relax and let my mind wander, you know, whether I'm meditating or I'm walking or I'm journaling. So I have these parts of my day for processing my life essentially already worked into a normal day. And I think at this point it's because I can feel the expansiveness of it. I can feel my power.
in it and that is really nourishing. So I take any negative emotion, whether it's from someone else or a reaction that I'm having about someone else, and I take it into that space and I always get clarity with it. And it always shows me how to level up. Now, if you don't know where you're going or what you want, leveling up is a big question mark. If you're making changes that don't work for you, maybe you should
Just like rewind it just for a second and get to know you first. And that'll help you in that moment. Like get really clear what's going on. Where are these emotions from? Are they yours? Should you do something about it? Make that intentional decision, do that exploration, and then move forward as a self-possessed woman who's like, hey, here's the thing, you guys. If you are sensitive, empathetic, if you deal with overgiving, codependency.
We need to wake up and start leading people. We understand energy. We understand the dynamics of the unseen realms around us, of consciousness, of awareness more than the other people do. And you might not feel like that. You might feel like you're just starting out, but because you are empathic, you're sensitive, you're intuitive, you're already inclined in this direction.
And that's why I think it's so important for all of us to want to be self-possessed, to know ourselves so deeply and be so convicted in our mission and our purpose in this life we came here to create, so that we can lead these people, so that we can experience these emotions, this guilt, these things that are driving us in directions that we don't want to go.
Jina Seer (30:31.17)
When we start to unravel that in our own life and do it in a way that's graceful, compassionate, you fuck up and then you repair, you mess up, you repair, that is how we help other people grow and learn too. Like not only are we growing and learning, but just us being us, we're like a flower in the garden. People can observe that, they can learn from that, they can appreciate the beauty of that if they want.
And that's what we need more of. So that's why I'm always talking about go to your higher self. You are gonna know what to do with all of this. Now I'm focusing on the emotion of guilt because it's something that ruled my life for so dang long. And we were talking about it a little bit in my membership last week. And this idea of guilt, I know for me, it rules so many women.
And before I was a hypnist, I worked as a personal trainer, group exercise instructor. I was a wellness consultant and coach. And I will tell you the amount of women who were dealing with so much guilt anytime they wanted to do something for themselves. I mean, it's one of the reasons why I went into hypnosis because I was like, what is blocking what we all truly want? And I was in the wellness industry. So everyone wants a fit, strong, healthy body. Who doesn't want a fit, strong, healthy body?
Okay, why don't you have it? Most people are being ruled by other people's emotions, beliefs that are outdated, not programmed for where they want to go. And it can result in so much guilt. Like guilt was the number one thing. So let's go a little bit deeper into guilt. Everything I just said applies to guilt, but I really want to hit home that when you feel guilt, understand it in terms of whether it's yours or not.
Okay, you can you can do the math of like who should feel guilty in this situation or not. But I think the most effective way is to say, is is this mine or not? Should I be feeling this or not? If you're like, I don't know if I should or not, here's the way I do it. I feel guilty when I live outside of my morals, my ethics, my vision for who I want to be in this life. And then it's productive. I did something I don't want to do anymore. Or I did something I wish I didn't do it that often. Whatever.
Jina Seer (32:58.774)
And I use it as information, I make the changes, and I go forward. But when guilt would always come in at the beginning, it was always because I was actually acting outside of the role that this other person expected. So they expect me to do A, B, and C, or I think they expect me to do A, B, and C, even if they're saying they're okay with it.
And I feel guilty about it. Then in that situation, I would say, Am I living in alignment with my morals, my ethics, my purpose, what I want to do with this life? Yes, I am. And I still have guilt. Well, let me talk to this person. Hey, I want to do this thing. I'm feeling guilty. Are you okay with it? Can you tell me if you're not okay with it? Then this person would say, I'm okay with it. And then I'd be like, shit, I still feel guilty. And then it's like, well, guess what?
My next thing that I do is I move forward. I carry guilt with me. And I don't try to hang on tightly to it, but I just move forward knowing it's there. And I try to focus on other things. So if there's something that I can do to get me out of that guilt, journaling, walking, meditating, dancing in my living room, working out, those things help me get this energy out of my body.
So if you've done your due diligence and you're just feeling this leftover guilt that you don't need to, then put your body in a different situation. And this is another cool thing about getting to know yourself, understanding your higher self, accessing that connection whenever you're feeling a little lost, a little self-doughty, you'll start to move through your life and add things in that actually help you feel more you, help you feel more confident.
Help you feel self-possessed, whatever that means to you. And it's in those times when you used to hang out with guilt or go back on your plans because of guilt, that you're just going to push through the resistance, do something different, believe you are someone different, and then do something different. So when in 2021, I bought a minivan.

And I wanted to just road trip. I had been waiting for so long for people to road trip with me. And I shared a home with my husband at the time. We had three dogs together. And I felt guilty about going on a road trip. And that's what I did. I talked to him about it. How do you feel? And he's like, No, I love it. And he's like, I travel for work. This makes me feel less guilty about traveling for work. Great. It was all good there.
Right. But when I was leaving, I would feel really sad and kind of bad about it. And I knew that I wanted to be someone who felt as excited for this road trip when I was driving away from home as I was when I was planning it, when I was thinking about where I was going. And so then I just had to be her. I had to put myself into that space mentally, physically, whatever that means.
And so as I was driving from home, when I would feel that guilt, or sometimes it would this guilt would come in as just this like really deep, icky feeling like around sunset for me. And it was almost like I had to be indoors around sunset. And I can't explain it. It's actually the opposite of the way I am now. I had to just be in it. And I had to be like, hey, you can live in this. You don't have to avoid it. And how about we do something fun instead? Like.
Put on an audiobook and color. Like I used to color mandalas all the time. And so that was one way that I would like get through that time of day. Cause when I was traveling by myself and the sun would be going down, I would just feel very guilty, very lonely. And I had to take care of myself during those times. So it was like, all right, I know I feel shitty during that time. So
When I'm planning this trip, I'm gonna make sure that I am wherever I'm sleeping that night and I can put on my headphones, put on an audiobook and color until the sun goes down and then I can go to bed or whatever. so it's all about really paying attention to yourself in those times. And every time you do it, it gets easier. And moments turn into days, turn into weeks, turn into months and years, and pretty soon you'll be like,

Can't believe I even wrestled with that. I can't believe that was even a thing. And that's the whole point, is like you are on your way to this greater version of yourself. So get curious about that journey. Get curious about every challenge on the way and how you can really help yourself through it and come out on the other side, an even better version of yourself, whatever that means for you. Okay, where are we at?
So guilt or these other negative emotions, other people's reactions that can possess us and make us act and choose things that we would rather not. Be in contact with that. Resist the urge to just stuff it down and instead let it come up. Listen to it. Learn even more about yourself through it. Let it influence the conversations you have. Let it influence how you take care of yourself. Let it
influence which direction you're going to move and what strengths and capacity you're going to gain on the way. Now, if you wanted to do this in a way that was very relaxing and puts you in that state of unconditional love, puts you in direct experience with that quiet, wise part of you, your soul self, your higher self, then I have a hypnotic journey for you.
The hypnotic journey for October includes a journey to your higher self. So you're just gonna relax, get into that unconditional love, get into that ultra clear state. You're gonna bring a situation to your mind that will help you understand what is confusing about this situation? What really means the most to me in this situation? How do I wanna move forward in this situation? It's so easy in our regular conscious waking state.
If we are always hyper aware of what other people need and feel, it can be hard to get that clarity. So we use that hypnotic trance state to access that clear knowing within you, your true self, your higher self, your higher knowing. So you can start to see your clear path forward. Whether it's having a conversation or taking care of yourself in a different way or releasing a belief or whatever it is.

But you can be in that calm, relaxed state and get that clarity. And of course, that clarity is awesome. You can move forward with it. But anytime we do a hypnotic journey and we're in the experience of that part of ourself, the easier it is to access that wisdom outside of hypnotic trance. So play around with it too. Take these hypnotic journeys. But when you're on the fly, when you're on the go and you can't do hypnosis, get quiet.
Try to access that part of yourself when you do have a question just in everyday life. It's such a fun little practice. I kind of think of it as like the hypnotic trance is like you go into the gym, you're being intentional, you're putting in the work, except you're bathed in that unconditional love, you're getting all kinds of clarity. And then you take that strength and you take that knowing and you see if you can access it in the chaos of everyday life.
There is this cultural influence over the idea of growing, evolving, changing, healing. And it's this thought that, like, if we are not peaceful, if we are not unaffected, we're losing, we're regressing, we're going backwards, we're losing control. And I just don't think that's true. Number one, life and evolution is a spiral. So you will probably consistently get similar issues in your life based on
Whatever it is you came here to create, honestly. But we can always see these things as ways to become better, as ways to know ourselves. A couple weeks ago, I was having this thought of like how there's always more. Like there's always more. Every time you up-level, new problems. Every time you make a change, new problems. And I think at the beginning.
My thought was soon I won't have these problems. And yes, of course, we definitely get rid of a lot of drama and chaos when we stop participating in it in our own way. But just as true is we start to be able to usher ourselves through these difficult times, through these times of contraction. It might feel like we're disconnected from ourselves, from our power, from source, from creator, whatever that is.
Jina Seer (42:25.25)
But the more I go through those things and the longer I'm on this journey, I see this idea of like there's always more, there's always more layers, there's always more to learn, there's always more ways to grow and change. It used to kind of feel like what a bummer. Like, why am I even doing this? And I was really feeling that, like, really in that for a while, just on and off. I would say, like.
2023, 2024. And because of that, I realized those feelings and I pushed back and I dug into those feelings. And what I know now on my journey is that it there always is more. But it's also getting better than I ever imagined. I think a lot of us start out, or at least I should speak for myself, start on the st.
start out on this healing journey thinking everything's gonna be peaceful and life is gonna look, you know, whatever way. And I do think we get more peace, but even more so that peace comes from our ability to endure, our in ability to be strong and diligent and dedicated to the direction that we're going and the person that we want to be.
So yeah, there's always more, but at this point I've surpassed what I thought life could be. So every challenge, every change, every obstacle that I come into contact with, because I know who I am and where I'm going, now I'm just like, I might get caught up in a negative emotion for a little bit. But pretty quickly I realize like, I'm in a growth phase. Like I'm in this little growth spiral. I just have to
Do the work and be in the discomfort of it. And pretty soon this is gonna feel easy. And that is when I've up leveled when I'm doing this stuff automatically. I'm just, you know, fighting the unseen realms around me and within me. And I am staying me, I'm staying lighthearted, I'm staying on my path, I know who I am, I know I'm becoming. And even that, knowing who you're becoming, relieves a ton of fear.
Jina Seer (44:45.472)
So much of us avoid so many things in life because of the fear of the unknown. We try to control things we can't create all kinds of drama because of the fear of the unknown. And more and more it feels like inside of me, I can handle the unknown if the unknown is not inside of me. If I know myself, then I know so much more. That's like everything I can know.
And then in any moment I'll know how to operate because I know who I am and I know where I'm going. Okay. That is coming in your hypnotic journey in a couple weeks. And until then, just notice. Just notice when you want something and you stop yourself because of a reaction you think you're going to get from someone. Just notice these times when other people's desire.
Or the projection that you have on them, what you think they're going to do or say. Just notice how much that influences you. And then as you're feeling energized, maybe test it here or there, get dirty, get messy. And then in a couple weeks, I'll have that hypnotic journey for you. All right, everybody, thank you so much for being here. And you know, take anything that serves your highest and greatest good, just leave the rest.
And I will be back in a couple weeks.
