    in your daily existence. In just a second, I'm going to tell you about why I chose this topic, what my higher self had to say about this topic, and then the hypnotic journeys that you're going to get within this topic and how to use them.

    Before we breeze into that, I wanna let you know about a little something I created for you. As a little Halloween, darker time of the year, Samhain, the veil is thinning. I wanted to lean into this and give you a little something extra. So something that I never intended to do in hypnosis is to work with people who are contacting loved ones on the other side. I knew it was a possibility, but it was just never something that I was super interested in. But it started happening.

    with my clients probably about six years ago. Spontaneously, these clients would have the consciousness, the energy of their loved ones who have passed away, loved ones on the other side, come to them.

    in these hypnosis sessions and in that they got a really great feeling in their body, they got to reconnect with that person's energy and the energy of the connection between them, they got to experience even exchanging messages with this person, feeling forgiven, feeling forgiveness, all kinds of things that I never...

    intended to do. So many of my clients have intentionally and unintentionally had encounters with loved ones on the other side and now you can too.     Okay, feeling nourished in your body. Why I chose this theme first. This theme is a great follow up to our last theme, which was enjoying being in your body. So if you want to learn more about that, go see episode 229. Probably about seven or eight years ago on my hypnotic journeys, one of the pieces of wisdom that I would often get from spirit guides or my higher self was to like play, enjoy yourself and understand why you can't. Because I wasn't and I couldn't. In that journey, one of the things that I found was that

    the more I would do those things, like engage in activities that genuinely interested me or things that I love to do and would look forward to doing them. When I had more of those play activities in my day, I noticed that nighttime snacking, to have this craving and wanna just like munch at night. And I'd often find myself like standing in front of the cupboard, just being like, I want a snack, but like, what do I want? None of this. And I started to see that like the more,

    play, that's what I would call it at the time that I was doing, the more enjoying myself, doing activities that didn't require service to other people or service to making money. When I was just doing those activities, I would experience fewer cravings and I would feel just more satisfied in general and like less snacky. So it was something that I experienced very subtly in my own life, like over years.

    And so as I was coming to this realization and just seeing it more and more in my life, I of course would talk to my clients about it, ask them questions about it and see if they wanted to explore that. And then I had clients who wanted to work on their connection to their body. So we would go into multiple hypnosis sessions, connecting to questions like, why did I choose this body? How can I feel better in this body? All of these answers essentially led them to being able to...

    nourish their body, eat foods that are better for them, whatever they deemed that to be. And then they were also just feeling more content, more satisfied in general. And it was because of these other activities that they were doing, whether it was like moving their body more or adult coloring books or playing with their kids or going on bike rides that are like slow and fun and not a grueling workout. When they were doing these things that actually felt good in their body, they started to see like,

    I just crave less, like I'm online shopping less. I'm standing in front of the cupboard or the pantry less. I'm snacking on less candy at night. All of these things played a role in just feeling more content in their life. And it wasn't all about the body, but it's not not about the body. It definitely is about the body. That whole journey.

    just showed me that there are things that we can do with our mind, experiences, feelings that we can have in our body that lead to just a more nourished, content, satiated feeling. And it goes above and beyond food.

    Like yes, eat food, eat healthy food, whatever that means to you. Also engage in these other activities that like nourish your soul. Now, most people are like, I have no idea what that is. Like, I don't know what that is, period. I don't know what that is for me. That is what we're gonna do this week with these hypnotic journeys. Our first journey within this theme of nourishing your body is an experience in another lifetime. You'll take a hypnotic journey. You'll experience memories or scenes from another lifetime.

    that will help you be able to nourish yourself more in this lifetime. That might mean a million different things. Maybe you're at a part in your life where you need to add in more play. Maybe you're at a time in your life where you need to add in more nutritious foods. Maybe you're at a time in your life where you need to do something else for your body that would help you feel more nourished, satisfied, content. This hypnotic journey to another lifetime is designed for you to really wake that feeling of nourishment, contentment, satisfaction up within your body,

    and give you insights and wisdom on how to continue moving forward in that direction in your everyday life. And then the next hypnotic journey within this theme of nourishing your body is a journey to your higher self. That's your inner knowing, your soul's guidance. So think of that however you wanna think about that. I believe, and I go experience what I call my higher self, it's my inner knowing. It's my eternal soul's wisdom, the result of every lesson.

    of every lifetime experience that I've ever had. And we use hypnosis to access the subtleties of that quiet wisdom within us. And that's when I'll ask questions about what blocks you from feeling nourished? What takes that feeling from you? What helps build that feeling within you? What can you start doing or do more of if you're already doing it? Things that help you.

    feel even more nourished, take it to a level that you've never been to before. And also, what are your next steps in general when it comes to feeling more nourished? What can you know today, right now, based on where you wanna go, where you've been, what can you know, what are your next steps on this path? The third hypnotic journey within this theme is a directive hypnotic journey. The directive hypnotic journey you will actively listen to at night before you go to bed. So when you lay down to go to sleep at night,

    Just turn this on, actively listen to the words of the hypnotic journey, and eventually you'll drift off to sleep. But what we wanna do is access that magic space between you're awake, totally aware, and you're totally asleep. That middle space there is called the theta brainwave state. And in that state, your subconscious mind is open to be reprogrammed, to have seeds of new intentions planted, and that's exactly what we're doing on this hypnotic journey. I'll be reinforcing just different

    positive messages around you nourishing your body, you feeling, nourish, satisfied, content in your body, in your daily life. All of those hypnotic suggestions that you'll be listening to before you fall asleep will be there to really promote that feeling of nourishment. One of the reasons why I take a theme and do three hypnotic journeys within that theme is because what I've learned from my own journey of healing, growing, evolving, and all the clients that I've worked with,

    is that oftentimes when there's an issue or something we're trying to get rid of or kind of rework or redirect, we often need to come at it from kind of different points of view, different ways of looking at it and experiencing it so we can get a full view of the things that we're thinking that keep it in place, the things that we could think that would move it and change that energy for us. And all of the new perspectives

    and the insights and the wisdom that you experience from these three different hypnotic journeys, they're all designed to help you feel even more nourished in your body, mind, and soul. Like today, when you do those hypnotic journeys, also in the future. So all of the hypnotic journeys are really geared toward you feeling more and more nourished, satisfied, content in your body, mind, and soul every single day. So you're gonna continue to get insights, wisdom.

    knowledge from your higher self as you move through life, if you want them, if you pay attention to them. In the future, if you come up against an obstacle that's new or kind of a new version of something old and you need to get beyond it, release it, come back to these hypnotic journeys. OK, so I sat down, I put myself into that trance state. I access my higher self in the name of this podcast episode. And I asked, like, what can I know about nourishing my body, mind?

    soul. What can I know? What can I share? Here is what I got. Nourishing the body. First, get the overall picture. The overall picture, what drains you, what fills you up. Make two columns on a sheet of paper. One column for things that drain your energy. One column for things that fill your energy.

    With these two columns, tally all the things in a week and which column they go in. And then take a deep look at this. How many things in your life drain you? How many things in your life genuinely give you energy, anticipation, joy, before, during, and after? It'll be painful, annoying, and uncomfortable, but this inventory...

    will show you all the parts of your life, the people, the situations, the decisions, the responsibilities, the roles, the jobs, the activities, the commitments, the thoughts, it'll show you your energetic balance. What I was being shown was this accounting leisure, even though this idea of like understanding energy in and out is something that's how I've been kind of reflecting on my journey for a while, in sitting down with my higher self and seeing this like accounting ledger,

    It kind of like organized all these threads of thoughts that I had before of like knowing that I used to live in a way with investing nothing in myself and now I've totally flipped it and I feel completely different in my body, in my life, in my mind. It's still a process. Like I'm not done. I'm still relearning. But it was this tallying up of how it used to be. And it was like, my God, no wonder why I was depressed, anxious, losing my hair.

    Constantly injured always feeling like I couldn't be as strong as I wanted to everything I was doing was for things Situations that did not give back and it totally annihilated me that was actually really clarifying on a level that I didn't I wasn't really seeking or wasn't really aware that I needed but it felt really good to see it and even if you're someone who makes this awful list and it's like

    Or maybe you don't even need to, you're like, literally everything drains me. That sucks, I'm sorry for you, but we're on the right path. You know, you're making some changes. But with that, it's like even just the smallest changes you make will create bigger shifts in your life, which is a really cool place to be when that balance is more toward the draining. Anything you do to revive yourself a little bit, like you will feel that even more. What else did my higher self say? Okay, think in language like.

    Prana, chi, energy, life force, and pay attention to these things like we're trained to pay attention to our food. Pay attention to your commitments, your roles, your actions, like you pay attention to macronutrients, calories, or foods. Think of it like that. Just like this math problem that we think weight loss and gain is, or that we're told weight loss and gain is, think of that and allow this idea of energy in energy out.

    Yeah, it's not, we're not talking about money. We're not talking about calories or nutrients. We're talking about like your energy, like what refuels you and what drains you and keep track of that balance so you can start to see what makes you feel more nourished, more energized and what drains you. Life will just life, like we're always gonna have parts of our lives that drain us for sure, but it's about being able to be resilient and bounce back from that and not ruin ourselves like.

    dreading these things or beating ourselves up about these things. So being able to think of it as an energy in energy out, just like you would if you were like monitoring your bank account or monitoring your calories and nutrients. Okay, so next my higher self says, start thinking in terms of nourishment and depletion as an energy that you need to keep track of. And this isn't only about your roles and your commitments and the other people and making money. Think of this in terms of consumption.

    more than food, think of it as what am I reading, listening to, watching. Everything influences you and takes your time and attention. Time and attention are the two most important things in our existence. It's so much more than food. Zoom out. Think of it in terms of consumption. What am I taking in? And then your internal landscape. What am I chewing on? What am I thinking about over and over? What am I ruminating on?

    If those things deplete you, change the story. Shift the perspective to something else. Allow your higher self, your inner knowing, your soul's guidance to lead you there. Anytime you feel lost or depleted, come back to your higher self and check in with the truth. What do you need to know now, today, so you can do better next, tomorrow? Think of nourishing your body in terms of an energetic ledger. What nourishes you? What depletes you?

    not only externally what you engage in or who you engage with, but also what you consume in terms of books, podcasts, audios, visuals, TV, movies, all of it. Everything influences you. Everything takes your time and attention. Be intentional and discerning about where you give your time and attention internally and externally. Because when you are nourished, satisfied, content, who you are in this world is a

    positive force. You're a good leader, can firmly hold the tension of opposites, reside in a neutral space, seeing the wisdom, the beauty, and the shadow within every situation, within every side, within every opportunity. Doing this work allows us that solidness and that inner peace to do life in a way that

    creates more peace, not only for us, but like for everyone around us. And everyone's gonna have a unique route to get there and everyone has unique gifts to share within that. And being able to nourish yourself, nourish your body, your mind, your soul, I think is a really important part of that. All right, that is our episode for today.
