Train Your Mind: Stay Optimistic & Discerning  |  Preview For The Week  |  Seer Sessions #221

This week I have 3 hypnotic journeys for you - multiple ways to help you become more optimistic and discerning. I'm cutting out the middle man for these trance experiences.

The intention for the hypnotic journeys this week is for you understand more about your mood, perspective, and decision making. In other words - staying Optimistic & Discerning.

//  IN THIS EPISODE  //

  • Why I chose the theme this week: Optimistic + Discerning

  • This week's hypnotic journeys + how and when to use them

  • What my higher self energy said most recently about Staying Optimistic & Discerning. It's something I've been thinking about indirectly for awhile and I was a little surprised by what my Higher Self had to say about it. Another perspective making me wiser and more peaceful.

  • Hey everyone, it's Jina. You're listening to Seer Sessions. If you're listening to this, you should go over to YouTube. I have the link in the show notes. I am on my couch with Roxanne and Tula. This week to train your mind, we are going into optimism and discernment. And I'm gonna go more into that theme, like why I chose it, how you can use these hypnotic journeys. But after I do that, I just wanted to let you know.

I'm going to share with you what I got from my higher self. So just a few days ago, I put myself into that trance space, and I wrote out, what does my higher self have to say to me today about optimism and discernment? So I've been on a journey with it. I've been exploring it mostly indirectly, but it's come up so often that it feels like it's really weaved into a few things that I've been looking into. And so to sit down and just

kind of almost like this old topic that I've been working with and I still got new information. So I'm gonna tell you about the theme for this week and why I chose it, how you can use it. And then I'm gonna share with you what my higher self said about optimism and discernment just a couple of days ago. Each week we have a theme and then in the name of that theme, we have three hypnotic journeys. So tomorrow's episode, you can take a journey to another lifetime that will help you become more optimistic and discerning. And then,

The next episode is a journey to your higher self. So that is a hypnotic journey to your eternal soul's knowing, your inner guidance, your inner wisdom. Your higher self is how I put that. And that's when we ask questions about, does anything block you from being optimistic? What can you know about your level of optimism, pessimism? What can you know about discernment? Like, how do you discern what is right for you and what is not right for you?

You're the only one who can decide that. The third hypnotic journey, use that every single night as you fall asleep. So that's a directive hypnotic journey. That is where I take you into a hypnotic induction. You listen to it, whether you fall asleep during it or not, either way your subconscious mind is wide open. And I'm planting positive affirmations about being optimistic, seeing the bright side, but also accessing that protection of discernment.

    Jina Seer (02:21.518)

So there's all kinds of hypnotic suggestions and affirmations in that vein. And you would just listen to that as you're falling asleep at night, every single night for 30 nights and watch these subtle changes just kind of like take root and then bloom in your life. I never really set out on my own journey to like become more optimistic or get better at discerning.

Essentially, that was kind of a theme like wrapped into a lot of what I wanted. I think anytime we're on a journey to like get to know ourselves better or when we check all the boxes in life and we feel like, what the fuck, this is not that great. This actually kind of sucks. We can do a little bit better job discerning. Like what is right for us? What do we truly want? And what's going to push us in that direction? And I think that whether you have a pessimistic

or an optimistic outlook, having discernment is so important. And I, on my journey, that was something that I felt like, okay, well, if I'm gonna be like looking on the bright side of things, it was like I had this fear that I would be taken advantage of or be seen as like soft because of that and be a target because of that.

And so on my journey, was like these themes kind of kept coming up and it was almost like, well, I can be optimistic as Jina. I can be optimistic as long as I know, like I am intentionally discerning so I can see the good in everything. But that doesn't mean that everything is like a yes. Some things are great and not for me. And I think that that power of discernment is important in general. And especially when we're talking about outlook and optimism.

On my journey, they were so intertwined that that's what I wanted to bring to you. Having all of that information is like beneficial right now, but also having that information is great when you feel the opposite. Like you're down in the dumps, you have a negative outlook, you're feeling really pessimistic, or you feel like maybe you haven't been great at like making decisions for yourself and understanding what you truly want and building a life in that direction, making decisions every day.

    Jina Seer (04:36.236)

in that direction, then go to those journeys, like go to those journeys specifically when you're kind of feeling like the opposite. And then the third hypnotic journey, the one that you listen to every night for 30 nights, I would pick a topic that really resonates with you, something that you're really curious about or like wanna make those changes in your life.

So last week's topic was moving away from anxious feelings, really excessive, like worry, fear, dread, resentment, that sort of thing. This week we're talking about optimism and discernment. So pick a topic with one of those and stick to it for a month and just see what happens. But the journey to the other lifetime and the journey to your higher self is something that you could use just kind of.

whenever you're feeling moved to explore. So speaking of which, last week, that was the theme of the week. We were moving away from anxious feelings toward more peace, more clarity. Because for me, the more clear I got about who I am, where I'm going, what I want in my life, what's tolerable, what's not, the better I was at discerning and making choices and in making choices that were more in alignment with like who I truly am, what I truly want.

eliminated so much of my anxious feelings that I would have and I'm someone who's had anxiety my whole life. So that to me is so powerful. But anytime we let something go, I think it's a really good idea to call something else in or focus on something else or if we're not doing it this way, intentionally choose a way to do it. And so if we're not feeling these overly anxious feelings, maybe we could call in a little optimism.

And then for me on my journey, that was so intertwined with also being discerning and my fear of like being taken advantage of because I was optimistic. And really, I thought my pessimism was almost like this protector. And it's like, well, no, actually, discernment is the protector on your journey to optimism. So I wanted to bring that to you all. It's on my journey. Maybe it could help you either way. I think it's a good combination.

    Jina Seer (06:49.336)

Okay, so little bit of a tangent here. One of the things with discernment that we're going to just touch on this week, sometimes when we're first starting out on a journey of getting to know ourselves or becoming more intuitive or, you know, understanding what truly serves us and what depletes us, what nourishes us, where are we headed? Where do we want to avoid? When we really know that, then we can discern, right? But it's like, how do we know that? we're

And when we're first starting out on this journey, it can feel like, I don't know, I don't know at all. And I think our body holds so much information for us. And so we're going to be exploring the relationship with your body, how to move your body, how to nourish your body, the wisdom of your body, using your body as an extension for intuition and really being not only like nice to your body, but like

genuinely appreciating your body, being grateful for your body. We're gonna be on a journey with that for the next few weeks, but we're just gonna dip our toe just a little this week. And what we're gonna do is just kind of ask that question and this idea that our body holds wisdom and that wisdom can help us discern.

and choose like, this for me or is this not for me? If you hear that and you want a little bit more of this exploration between you and your body, stick around. I'm so excited to share those journeys with you. And I'm so excited to see what you all get. I love it when people explore in a one-on-one session. I love it when people explore that relationship with their body or specific questions like, why did I choose my body or have like a conversation with the specific body part?

it's always really illuminating kind of shift that the client can get can just lead to a lot of release of like frustration, friction with their body. If we can see our body as this unique earth suit that we're here as an energetic being to like take shape in this third dimensional world, instead of this thing that we're.

    Jina Seer (09:04.689)

wish we wish was like shaped differently or whatever. The amount of mental space that that would free up would be incredible. And then the power of someone being so connected to their earth suit, their body, it's huge for like creativity and compassion and love, love for oneself, love for other people, compassion for oneself.

compassion for other people. OK, so these are my notes for my Higher Self session. I had asked my Higher Self about optimism and discernment, and I just kind of threw the question out there of, what can I know today? So like I said, with those hypnotic journeys, it's something that you can use today just to explore if you're curious, whether you're directly dealing with something in that vein or not. But it's something that you can also

just come back to whenever you need it in your life, like optimism or a tune up on your discernment. I feel like this is something that I've come a long way on. I almost did not sit down because I thought, I already know, which is so silly. We don't already know. And thinking you already know is probably a good sign that you don't.

So here is what I got. Without discernment, optimism, just like pessimism, can cause harm. Life or collective energies will pull us. We lean over here, we lean over there, pessimism, optimism. We inherently lean where we've been trained by our history to do it. We often don't know we have a choice. I remember, Jina,

I remember seeing my negativity as realness. I remember someone called me negative and I was like, negative, honey, this is the world we live in. It is not good. So we lean one way or another. We have a propensity to go one way or another. One is not better according to the universe or just like the creative energy, the universe we live in. It's not.

    Jina Seer (11:20.893)

better to be optimistic or pessimistic. The universe doesn't care. However, even though the universe doesn't care and doesn't hold one in moral value higher than the other, I do because as a person experiencing this world through this meat suit, I would rather be optimistic. When I'm optimistic, I feel a lot less anxiety, a lot less fear, worry, dread, resentment, frustration, all of that stuff.

I as Jina want that. So for me, discerning, yes, optimism is where I want to be. I want to put the effort in toward it. It's worth it for me. Maybe it's not worth it for anyone else. I don't know. It's none of my business. Thank God. And it goes on. And my higher self said, discernment is the piece that reminds us of our wisdom, our expanded awareness, being aware of more things, that there is more than one point of view.

One option, one program, one preference. Discernment pulls Jina back center, out of the pull of her natural tendencies, her childhood coping mechanisms that she hasn't updated yet. Her discernment pulls her center long enough so she can say, is this real? Is this true for me? Is this my only option? Is this my business? Having discernment.

The ability to judge well is important whether you're optimistic or pessimistic. Your beliefs will always influence you. Your perception is never the only option. Discernment is wisdom reminding us of this, reminding us that there is more, reminding us that it's more than just two options. It's more than the one option. It's more than our history. So to me,

It really means that I was kind of still, I was going into it thinking like, you're kind of like vulnerable if you're being optimistic. Like as I created this, was still obviously holding a shred of that belief, which is so funny. Cause then my higher self came through and was like, no, it doesn't matter. Even if you're pessimistic, you still need to be discerning in order to live a life that feels

    Jina Seer (13:42.695)

that creates like spontaneous joy and gratitude, you have to be discerning. You have to choose how to use this energy in front of you and within you and around you, the energy, the opportunities to create the life you came here to create. And it kind of goes back to our theme last week that if you don't have that clarity, if you don't know who you are or where you're going, then how do you decide? Of course, that would create

Decisions that aren't great and decisions that are confusing and stressful and all of that would create more anxiety. Okay, so that is it. We have our three hypnotic journeys this week. It's all about staying optimistic and discerning. After all that though, and after rereading my higher self thing, I'm like, well shit, maybe I should have just made it about discernment. But I think most people wanna be optimistic, right? I think that's important. So I'll keep it.

I'm going to keep it. OK, everybody, that's our episode for today. Thanks so much for being here.
